No. I will throw 4k gold to buy packs, still, I had enough of this game. If this expansion does not work out as it should, I will quit this game forever. This is the last chance
Same. I think majority of people agrees. This is their last chance.
My brother pre-ordered and im gonna pre-order today depening on seeing where the cards are going. Reveal today so. Gonna come here and see the summary within the next 24 hrs.
No, due to my current finances. I should be fine with about 9k gold and 14,600 dust when the expansion releases. It's the dust that gives me more comfort than any gold saved over 5k to be honest.
No way, I dont spend a single cent to this game until it will be "Fun and interactive" again.. sitting on 7000g and 8000dust so i can create some good decks
No, not yet. I'm pondering to stop playing HS. It has gotten notably more expensive. No, it won't put you on the street or anything, but it's looking like about 100 euros per expansion will be the price to stay competitive with the amount of decks I like to have vs how much I have time to play, and at that point I have to start asking if it really delivers that much enjoyment... especially considering that a lot of the aspects I loved the most about the game have diminished (very few tactical decisions left).
I did pre-order, As many others said, I play a few games every day, so spending 50 bucks for hours of entertainment seems worth it to me. I probably won't spend any more money on the set though, saved gold and dust will have to do to acquire a decent collection. In the meantime the three guaranteed legendaries (one free, one in the first 10 packs and at least one in the remaining 40 of the pre-order, because of the pity timer) will provide me with a challenge to make at least one viable deck work with those. And who knows, maybe I get lucky for once and get some decent epics in the bargain as well.
I will only preorder if there is going to be a high amount of legendaries that are either very good or have a super fun cool concept. If there are like 5 of those, I can grind gold/dust to get them. If there 10-12 interesting legendaries, I will preorder to get some earlier, and not wait for 3-4 months until I can get them f2p way.
Either way, I'm not gonna make a decision until all of the cards are revealed. I'd like to now what I'm paying for as much as possible, so there are 0 reasons to do it now (don't care about the cardback)
willor wont preorder depending on how good the weapons will be if we see 9 rins and 7 more bad weapons then no reason to preorder got 4k gold and 8k dust on expansion release
guys! you can preorder a day before the expansion release it's a huge mistake preorderong before reveals..
Like every single other expansion and adventure so far.
I usually open around 110 packs on launch day and I must say that no dupes and guaranteed legendary boosted a lot my experience, while during Ungoro season I got almost nothing 'till KFT missing a total of 9 legendaries and some epics, while KFT season I'm only missing 4 legendaries.
"I have seen worlds bathed in the Makers' flames, their denizens fading without as much as a whimper. Entire planetary systems born and razed in the time that it takes your mortal hearts to beat once. Yet all throughout, my own heart devoid of emotion... of empathy. I. Have. Felt. Nothing. A million-million lives wasted. Had they all held within them your tenacity? Had they all loved life as you do?"
Anyone know if you use amazon coins that you will get 500 coins back on the preorder? It happened last time but I haven’t seen it advertised with catacombs
I preordered with coins already, no coins back this time.
Yes, I have. I preorder every expansion and adventure. And I have enough gold/dust to open 250+ packs on day one and craft plenty of legendaries.
However, I can sympathize with those who are disillusioned with there being 3 expacs per year.
One of the worst feelings in HS is to open packs on the day of release and get nothing you wanted. I've been there too. Especially if you've just spent actual real world currency, with $50 being the equivalent of a brand new game.
They've made some steps in the right direction with a guaranteed DK hero in KoFT, and legendary weapon in KaC, the guaranteed legendary in your first 10 packs, and no more duplicate legendaries. But there is more to be done.
Personally, I'd like to see a pre-determined amount of dust given for each pack opened (weather there are dupes or not). This way, even if you open your pre-order of 50 packs and don't get anything you wanted, at least you'll have accumulated some dust to craft something you do want...without disenchanting the things you just spent $50 for.
NO. This looks like the worst expansion ever in the history of Hearthstone. I don't like anything about it: theme, mechanics, currently revealed cards.
Nope, hoarded 9000 gold and will open ~100 packs. I'm just kinda done buying preorders, the value for 50$ is too small, especially compared to regular games. The fact that the value you get is also left up to RNG is criminal. We should be getting 3 legendaries of our choice by preordering so that there's at least some amount of guaranteed value.
Absolutely no...after seeing the cards that have been revealed so far, I am just leaning towards uninstalling the game all together.
It is just so enraging that Blizz has no clue what they're doing...Giving Priest ANOTHER FKING AOE?! You know how hard it is already to play around Kaza potion, dragonfire, Horror/Pint size combo, CoH/Soul Priest, DK and now this fking dragon!
Then the new druid weapon that gives 10 mana?! wow...so Druid has this most ridiculous turn 10 like Kun + mediveh + destroy weapon + UI = GG
THEN you give Shaman this piece of shit 8 mana weapon that's not even worth 6 mana....it's just sooo mind-boggling Blizz can give good cards to the classes that are already good and it's the same theme of cards..druid...MORE ramps....Priest...more AOE
Honestly the only people who should really think about pre ordering this early are people who do Hearthstone as a job streamers, youtubers, etc or whales
I bit tbe bullet and treated myself to a cheeky pre-order of K&C. I figured I'm going to spend nearly the same amount of money buying packs during the launch anyway so I might aswell get them at a lower cost. (I also drank several beers.)
To avoid dissapointment i'm not expecting any more than 1 legendary in my 50 packs.
What about you? Did you crumble like me or was it not even a question you had to ask yourself?
Peace
You will get 1 legendary in the first 10 packs (it is coded by Blizz for the first 10 packs you open from each new expansion) and the pity timer is at 40 packs. So you will get at least 2 legendaries :)

no, i was buying adventures in the past, cuz they granted a big amount of cards. but im not wasting money on expansions - high cost, low gain
For my girlfriend, sure, for myself, no.
no, as always I´ll have about 3k ingame Gold to spend. Prefer collecting over the weeks to come
