I'm not happy with the current state of the game, so no. I will buy 30 packs with gold and i have a lot of dust to make nice decks, but if the expansion isn't something good for the game, i will quit
I preordered. I play this game more than any other, and the other games I play are now free to play so why not. I've been playing some PUBG, but I don't think I'll need to spend any on that game any time soon. This is the game for me, and I can't wait to see what they will come up with next. You have to agree that nobody thought any of the princes would be any good. This expansion may bring new life to old cards as well. I've always been a big fan of Kobolds, ever since I started playing Kobold Tribes in the SCII Arcade. That game is awesome. Hail to all the Candle Takers out there, and 'U No Take My Candle' ! I can almost guarantee there will be a Pirate Kobold Legendary neutral card.
I will not plan on spending any real money in this game until they fix the broken game mechanics. As in dumbfuck aggro is the best way to rank up and earn gold)
I've pre-ordered. Even with some degenerate decks (highlander machinegun priest, big priest, keleseth etc.) around i still enjoy playing this game (wild mode especialy).
Yes I have, as usual. The thrill of trying out new decks and getting new cards is awesome. Plus, I play hearthstone almost exclusively with some cs go and titanfall sprinkled in.
Yes, I have. I preorder every expansion and adventure. And I have enough gold/dust to open 250+ packs on day one and craft plenty of legendaries.
However, I can sympathize with those who are disillusioned with there being 3 expacs per year.
One of the worst feelings in HS is to open packs on the day of release and get nothing you wanted. I've been there too. Especially if you've just spent actual real world currency, with $50 being the equivalent of a brand new game.
They've made some steps in the right direction with a guaranteed DK hero in KoFT, and legendary weapon in KaC, the guaranteed legendary in your first 10 packs, and no more duplicate legendaries. But there is more to be done.
Personally, I'd like to see a pre-determined amount of dust given for each pack opened (weather there are dupes or not). This way, even if you open your pre-order of 50 packs and don't get anything you wanted, at least you'll have accumulated some dust to craft something you do want...without disenchanting the things you just spent $50 for.
Undecided. I think the pre-order should only be available after the full set is shown. I'm not completely sold on the Legendary weapons yet either. Fun and powerful weapons have been a gamble ever since Pirate Warrior arrived on the scene. Medivh gets played a lot still, but I still tech in either Harrison Jones or an Ooze and normally destroy it the turn after it's played.
Gonna buy my usual 100-160 packs nearly immediately after opening my preorder packs. I spend all my gold on classic packs 10 at a time in an effort to try and complete my classic collection.
Yeah I did, although Frozen Throne released a few broken cards - on the whole the expansion was very good. The meta is fairly balanced but Team 5 still need to get their finger out of their ass in regards to Druid.
In terms of quality of card expansions these last two have been excellent so I expect something of similar quality this time.
No. I will throw 4k gold to buy packs, still, I had enough of this game. If this expansion does not work out as it should, I will quit this game forever. This is the last chance
Team 5 so far hasn't failed in any particular way in the past and I doubt that they will with Kobolds.
Dude, that was so funny... Now seriously, do you think you are going to be hired by Blizzard or something for saying things like that or are you already a Blizzard employee?
First time skipping a pre-order purchase for the past 4 years. I have enough of this bs game. Its better and more fun to watch streamer than playing it anyway.

LOL no, I got 6000 gold for packs and that is more than sufficient.
For the first time in all expansions I haven't.

No, I'm fine with 9800 gold and 13k dust.
Nope.
I think i will invest that money for a Xmas gift for my parents

Nah, I could instead use the money I'd use for pre-order and use it for a down payment on a house xD
I earn free Hearthstone packs with swagbucks! https://www.swagbucks.com/refer/Smartmoney

I did...still hanging on to whatever will keep me interested in this game. TBH, I wish they would release another adventure instead.
