i just finished my game against a Priest (i played also a Priest) and won it pretty obviously against his Highlander Razakus (like 90% of all Priests on ladder) and he added me to insult me and then removed me again (it´s like the 4th guy who did that after i won). I even greet him and generally didn´t BM´d with emotes. Btw. i even played a off Meta deck which doesn´t feel bad to play against like other (exodia, mill)
did u guys also experienced such a behavior in ladder?
Sometimes i find myself quite salty after losing against what i consider cancerous, such as Jade Druid, Pirate Warrior, Ice Block or Reno (that feeling of pushing on Tempo each turn, and then a couple of cards and game is lost...).
But never to the extent of insulting the player. Why bother, even, as if insults could ease the saltiness...
Do not be upset if somebody is raging at you, because that's what they want! For this, prevention is very effective, for example do not accept invite after kicking someone's ass.
One can even tell based on their speed. If they add you instantly after loosing, it will mostly be BM-ing. You have to face the fact that this game is mostly played by teenagers who are tend to be hysterical sometimes :) Don't forget that these children won't even dare to tell you the same things face to face :)
Ah, reminds me of the "good old days", when I was still a teenager, who recently got involved into WoW (dragonfire.bg wotlk). Not that I was casually being rude or anything, but once I unintentionally started using an exploit (some war horse for some quest in IC), and I killed and started emoting a random, harmless person. Some time afterwards I got a message from his alt, saying I was reported. The same day my acc was banned for a week and good gracious how immature I was that week. I made another acc myself, leveled my character until I can whisper people and I sold all of my low-level gear for silver, so I can mail that person and inform him of my revenge. Every day until I got my acc back I wrote him a letter, saying I'm one day closer to get them. "Wait until I come".
:DDDD
And tbh reminding how irrational I acted, now I also burst into laughter. So, OP, normally I tell people, who have the same situation as you do, to report that annoying player and to move on; enjoy your games, don't let a frustrated kid ruin your game experience. So yeah, think of my post as a proof, that people can act childishly, but will change eventually.
You'll find that people who have too much time on their hands will go ballistic over the smallest of issues. Take solace in the fact that you probably lead a better life and have more things to be happy about! :)

Their goal is to rank up. Losing interferes with that goal. Frustration can be caused by any number of things, but it pretty much always boils down to "I have a goal and this thing is getting in my way."
i personally depends on how the match goes.Beside being pirates or suchs in my opponent's deck, i rage ALOT, when the real RNG hits. Like 3 topdecks in a row that fuck spells, board and armor for example. If this happens more then once per day or per match i start to get seriously mad.
Beside that, i instantly got mad and put the tryhard mode on when i read opponent:hunter. the most retarded hearthstone class.
Anyway a long match on fatigue is always welcome and i love to play against non brainless decks.

If you are playing the top one or two decks from the most recent tier list - you should expect to get insulted (and you probably deserve it for net-decking from a tier list - even though everyone does it).
Further, players should expect (and pretty much deserve) derision for the following:
Playing more than one golden legendary
Playing a wallet-deck full of legendaries (but only right after a new expansion is released)
playing abusive 'busted' mechanics (giants Hunter, big priest, and keleseth (but only with shadowstep), this would have also applied to old decks like quest rogue, as well as freeze mage and mill rogue which aren't even necessarily busted - just infuriating and unconventional)
Roping - especially when done to deceive the opponent into believing you might be AFK
Trolls that insult are not 'in-the-right' for the above, but it is understandable and to some extent warranted.
Some people get salty when playing against decks they hate (could be Quest Mage, Big Priest, Jade Druid or aggro in general), but that's not the only reason they get triggered. Maybe they just had a losing streak because of bad RNG or maybe they just had a really bad day. Don't take it too personally.
PS: I'm really curious about what deck you were playing. :)
Recently had a guy get super raged out after I used a poisonous minion to kill a buffed up Northshire Cleric. He was clearly setting up for Inner Fire the following turn and got really upset that his obvious move was obvious.
I only get mad when you bring meta ladder decks to casual "because you can" and "I'm just testing it" and "relax bro its just a game."
No offense but "Relax bro it's just a game."
No. Play ladder decks on ladder. Keep casual cancer free, the way it should be.
You sound more childish than the kids that add to insult. You have to realise people dont like losing, wherever they play. Its not bad that they want to win.If you dont like cancerous decks play brawl.
The current meta decks are for brainless people with money. Obviously they get mad when they get their asses kicked even after spending $$$ to craft all the cards for Razakus Priest or Pirate Warrior.

Naming and shaming is against site rules. If you want to post pictures of dialogue, please edit them to remove the players' battletags first.
Maybe people are upset about losing, because they take the game too seriously.
As for me I stopped being tilted and angry all the time when I decided to quit competitive hearthstone. Now I only play homebrews... at rank 20.
It happens sometimes.

because people are human and anger is a human emotion.
I tried having fun once. It was awful.
