I've seen it in my computer and in some streamers PC as well. Sometimes when you summon a Jade Idol , cast UI or anything it lags. It freezes for one second and then it continues or stutters a bit. It's kinda annoying. Does anyone know how to get rid of this or does it even happen to you?
I've seen voidform lag occasionally for a second or two. The worst offenders, though, are archmage antonidas and some of the priest circle of healing/wild pyromancer/northshire cleric things. I've seen exodia mages go 30+ seconds into my turn with all the lag, for example. I also had this really good priest deck based on northshire cleric, wild pyromancer, shadowfiend (yes, seriously), radiant elemental, and a bunch of stuff like that, which could cycle through the deck in like 6 turns and win, but it was unplayable competitively, not because the deck was bad (it was probably comparable to somewhere around a tier 2 deck at least) but because there often wasn't enough time to finish a powerturn due to all the complex decisionmaking and then waiting for all the animations to go off. (think grim patron, warrior before they sped his animations up, but worse)
Yes, i have a pretty good Laptop and it's having crazy lag when i cast anything, or use any card, even the golden hero's portrait animations can give some lag too. However, i run other graphic consuming games on my laptop and they work fine, so... i don't really know what's happening with Hearthstone, i think it worked really nice and without lag before the Frozen Throne expansion if i'm not wrong.
So, i'm playing Hearthstone now only on my Iphone, because it's running ok there.
I get lag/broken audio for some reason on my laptop. And it's a gaming laptop that has more power then my desktop, yet i don't have the issue on my desktop.
I get a noticeable 1 second lag after playing every card while I'm uploading a video to YT. It's still playable, but if you tend to think until rope and then do your turn, it is super detrimental to your APM ;)
So if I bought a SSD and placed Hearthstone within that disk it wouldn't lag at all?
No, it doesn't quite work like that. A ssd will most likely only affect your loading times, not the raw performance within a game. The thing I've noticed is, hearthstone works far better on 144hz monitors than it does on 60hz. It's very possible that people playing on 60hz monitors who have powerful pcs, will come to find that it actually hinders the overall experience.

Wouldn't agreed with you... As this kind of stutter is related from game reading data, not actual rendering or anything "fps" related

There is no evidence whatsoever that shows ssds improving performance in games, whether online or offline. If he can play most online games fine but hearthstone ''stutters'' it is not due to a lack of ssd, but more so due to the game not being optimized that well in the first place. Any modern HDD 7400 is sufficient for gaming.
The game preloads most of what it needs before a match starts anyway.
Oh really! That's it? I genuinely thought it was hard-ware problem! :3

This game is so poorly written, that it lags on i7 8700k, gfx 1070 and m2 samsung ssd...
Exactly. It appears to run better on weaker hardware than it does on powerful rigs. No idea why. I have found some workarounds that make it smooth. Fully updated my mobo, gpu, chipset drivers etc. Than downloaded Process Lasso and set the CPU affinity to 2 cores (always mode). So everytime it starts up now it only runs on 2 cores on my I5 instead of 4.
Also , make sure you have High Performance enabled under Power Options and not balanced/power-saver as that appears to not go well with the game.
I usually don't really pay attention to lag in HS, and it's rarely even noticeable, but when The Lich King equips Frostmourne and summons the 2/6s and the swirling mist, that's when it really starts to lag.

On the third day before Witchwood, Blizzard gave to me,
I thought this was only happening to me. It used to run better before something happened this year. I used to be able to play just fine and do lots of stuff int he background, but now I get tons of lag when doing that. It's definitely a deterrent more than anything to playing the game right now. It also is worse on mobile now than it was at the beginning of the year.
Also, to the person talking about HDDs. I use a SSD and this shit happens. There's your proof. Or you can use the poll results.
For me I actually did notice some lag in certain graphical things, and actually there was some overall slowness in general. However, after the recent patch (where I guess they added Marin) it's back to 'normal' for me.

Yes, on my phone. I wish there was some way to turn off animation to save time.

It's because game tried to read the "card" from hdd, and if u got lets say 5400 RPM HDD ya will experience a stutter while it loads the data

It happens to everyone. It's in their coding. The base coding of Hearthstone. But it's not that annoying. Live with it. :-)
