Weird question which I admittedly SHOULD know the answer to by now, but for some reason, it eludes me.
Usually I only bother with ranking standard up, and getting the season chest for that. However, this season I have played more than usual and ranked both standard and wild up to the same ranks, achieving the reward chests for both.
Now I know you only get one chest reward at season end, but I find myself wondering which chest it would be - and will it be standard cards only, or wild cards (if the wild chest).
I believe the reward is always Standard, not taking into consideration if the highest rank is Wild.
Gamepedia states: "The chest determines the number and rarity of rewards, although individual cards are still selected randomly, with a chance to be from any Standard format set"
You only get one chest and it always contains standard cards no matter which ladder you rank up on. Blizzard and their 'support' of wild! LMAO

The reward is for your highest rank, either Standard or Wild, but only one.
Ahh - a highlander chest! :-)
Based on the highest rank, containing only standard cards. So having the same rank for both shouldn't make much difference?
Hokies! Cheers!
