I'm so sick of encountering these people playing standard decks in wild. I know you're gonna say "but maybe there's 2 wild cards in the deck and you haven't seen them." I mainly play Reno priest and I've taken many decks to fatigue and I haven't seen a single wild card. The main culprit that is seen tons in wild that's a standard list is token shaman. I don't get it?? Why play you restricted list in a format with degenerate cards and combos?? Why play token shaman and face Hunter in a format where the deck im playing has a %30 chance of beating yours to start the game depending on whether I draw Reno?? You can play against basically the exact same deck in standard that doesn't have Reno and youre way better off! Please. Let wild be wild, the place you go when you're fed up with standard. I don't need to see your popular standard decks in wild format. Trust me...your standard deck is better in standard.
Maybe because this post is not about winning and losing?? A lot of people play wild because they enjoy the fun part of it, the wacky combos and the long convoluted games. If you measure everything in terms of "wins" just play rock paper scissor online.
I love it when I see posts about people vowing never to play Wild because they never want to see Dr. 7/Shredder/Mysterious Challenger ever again. Those people obviously don't play Wild.
That's not this post.
My point is that Wild has just become Standard PlusTM. Powercreep from the new expansions along with players' limited access to old cards mean that the Wild will NEVER look like Hearthstone prior to April 26, 2016. It will just look like Standard with something extra thrown in.
Token Shaman and Face Hunter specifically? Say no more!
I'm there!

Wild is easier. Probably because the most skilled players like standard better. So especially for newer players it can be very convenient to play wild, even if the don't have rotated cards.

Technically, the pro players and streamers prefer Standard because it's the sole format supported by Blizzard. Since Blizzard only supports Wild come rotation time, it's fiscally more beneficial for the "best" players to focus on Standard the majority of the time. The unfortunate side-effect is that when they dabble in Wild, particularly at low ranks, they give the impression that decks like Naga Giants are running amok when that's not truly the case.

Hey, today I played Evolve Shaman with Brann Bronzebeard, 2x Ancestral Knowledge and 1 Healing Wave as my only Wild cards. Needless to say, plenty of matches were over without me playing these 4 cards.
Still, my RNG-sults were affected by Wild's larger pool of cards very often, and my discoveries, transformations and random summonings often lead to plays that wouldn't be possible in Standard. (Like Maelstrom Portal into Clockwork Gnome that gives me a Time Rewinder to make use of an evolved Antique Healbot)
So if a deck has any randomness to it, chances are Wild mode affects it anyway. If a deck doesn't have randomness to it (pirate warrior), chances are it is weakening itself by not using Wild cards anyway.

Nicely done. It should go without saying that you look like a fool. All this work you put into your post, you know what they say... "All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy." You really should go out and explore life a bit more if you've gotten to this point with Hearthstone, Jackie boy.

Wow. Just... wow. Definition of "agreeable" = not you? XD
Maybe you should take your own advice mate, and find something which gives you less salt than an Hearthstone forum.
It might be I had too big expectations for people reading into my (admittedtly terse) comment. [EDIT: or perhaps not, since at least a couple people got it :P]
Anyway, here's a cheatsheet explaination.
What I meant is that OP seems to forget that Wild is "anything goes". And, like it or not, anything does include Standard. He might prefer "degenerate combos", which is fine. But as long as the format rules are these, he has no real ground to complain, sorry about that.
It looks almost like OP wishes for a new format, that is a "Wild-only" one, excluding standard cards. Don't know how it could work out, but proposing that might be more constructive than just complaining about the current state of things.
Standard is wild with restrictions. A standard deck can be both standard and wild by definition. Wild means that you have access to the entire card library. Their standard decks are both standard and wild.

So why complain if you get the free easy win?
Ahhh muffin, playing one of the strongest decks in the game, in wild no less and complaining about free wins...
The whine is strong in this OP.
And when the actual Standard will rotate out, will you complain about what?
For what profit is it to a man, if he gains the world and loses his own soul?

Approximately 25% of my games at rank 5+ in wild were against Highlander Priest last season and this is your complaint?
Standard players, ignore the OP! Play your standard decks in Wild to your heart's content!

Wasn´t the point of wild is you can play eveything you want? get a life and complain about real things.

Thesis: Standard is also Wild.
Proof: Standard ⊂ Wild.
