People were too scared to admit the nerfs were actually good. In fact, they were amazing. Pirate warrior is no longer the go-to aggro deck as things stand and Jade Druid isn't quite as good. Things are shaken up and it seems like most classes have a few good archetypes and all classes are easily playable. Nobody would ever say well done Blizzard or anything though, it's always complain and cry and whine. Most people don't get this game.
The deck is not op but goddamm is cancer.I have about 65%win with handlock but boy the other 35% make me salty as fuck. They have so many random generated cards that you can't play around.A c*cksucker once thoughtsteal my alex and mediv, another won because he got 2 mindcontrols from lyra and one other found bloodreaver guldan from the kabal courier. Not mentioning that they always have perfect answers and curve while they are 1 of deck.
Decks that are bad for the game are not necessarily also overly powerful. Quest rogue is a good example. The overall winrate of the deck was mediocre but it was still nerfed because the queue up RNG was massive and this led to player frustration
While Razakus priest is not nearly as bad as quest rogue, it's still kind of stupid how games are highly dictated by the RNG of how early you draw 2 cards
As for me, I'm glad this deck is turning out to be garbage after the nerfs. The deck is RNG based to play with and against no matter the power level. The low power level now means it hopefully won't be popular at all after the meta settles
When the Hearthpwn prophets make a collective prediction, you can almost certainly be assured it will not be reality.
Remember before Un'goro launched and they predicted the Hunter and Warlock quests would be overpowered? Remember when they broke the meta? Remember that? ...no? Yeah I can't either. :p
And don't get me started on "nobody's gonna play Ultimate Infestation, it's too slow!!!!1!"
Nothing but Razakus priests on NA ladder. Dont know what game you all are playing. Few hunter and pally but 80% Razakus priests .
Gunna call BS on this! 80% yeah right. Maybe produce stats from somewhere other than your backside.
Meta is feeling a lot more varied even though it's still early, I may be on EU but I doubt the metas are that different. Im seeing hunter priest, jades and aggro Druid, evole shaman, non-murloc aggro Paladin, buffadin, secret, exodia and control mages, zoo and control warlock, a few aggro and miricle rogues and still some pirate warriors around. Overall very varied. Like I say early, but promising. I think there are some strong decks but nothing as stiffleing to the meta as pre-nerf Jade Druid.
Also anyone saying Jade Druid hadn't been hit is out right lying. The nerfs to both innervate and spreading plague slows the deck up significantly and allows aggro and midrange decks (that didnt see nerfs) to put pressure on them they didn't have to worry as much about before.
Most decks that are moving to the top of the lists have good counters and can be teched against and that will keep most things in check in my opinion. I even felt that would be the case with Priest when the nerfs were announced and it could be proving to be the case.
"Flipping idiot", lol. Posts like this beautiful gem are why I check hearthpwn every day despite not having played in months... How do you get this rage-y?
So you essentially troll the forum? If you aren't playing the game, and verbatim your only purpose is to find people that may be upset over something, that's effectively a troll. (people who feed off other peoples anger, frustration, and responses).

I was skeptical too, but yeah this was a really good nerf. It's important that it seems like Warrior and Druid ARE ACTUALLY STILL PLAYABLE, and Shaman is doing REALLY well right now; nerfs should never make something bad. That's so hard to pull off, but it seems like it might be the case here.
This kind of statement frankly needs to never get posted. Presuming things about someone just because you disagree with them often leads to you being wrong, adds nothing to the discussion, and often weakens your own point. And the fact is, it doesn't matter if he plays Priest or not; he's right or he's wrong based on his statements, not his playstyle.
As far as I know, the only well-known player opinions that seemed on point, as far as the post-nerf meta was concerned, were Disguised Toast and Day9. Most people in general seemed tunnel visioned on only one section of the meta. Personally, I thought Hunter, Secret Mage, and Rogue would see a large rise in play. What I did not see at all coming was the current build of Rogue that has gained popularity of late (see Asmodai hitting rank 1 legend with it). Maybe it's my emotionally hope and optimism, but I don't see Highlander Priest dominating the meta at all like Pre-nerf Jade Druid or Pre-MSoG Shaman.

Yeah. I was really skeptical on the nerfs when they were announced, and its definitely not what I would have decided to do, but from what I can tell so far, the nerfs seem pretty on point, and the game is better now as a result of them.
Yeah idk what rank you're playing on but as you go up the ladder there are a TON of priests. It's by far the most common deck I've seen on ladder at least. It's really just been priests with a scattering of shamans and hunters in my experience.

Waaaah. Cry and whine!! Cry and whine!! My deck with high winrate isn't broken BabyRage. AND OF COURSE you aren't biased, the guy with the fucking highlander link in his signature. God I can't believe how ignorant some of the people on this forum are. They are probably the same people who only visit the echo chamber news sites that tell them what they want to hear.

So far it's like the player base has banded together to reject and counter the decks that are horrible and un-interactive to play against with stupid late-game crap: Razakus Priest, infinite loop Dead Man's Hand, Solitaire Mage, and at least some reduction in Jade Druid. A flood of tempo/aggro - not hyper/face aggro, the more interesting and interactive variety. I doubt it stays like this, but I'll sign up for what I've seen the past few days anytime.
I see priests everywhere, not just in the game but in real life too, i see them in my house, when i walk in the streets and at my job. But then again it doesn't help that i'm the pope.

Have you seen the list? It's a joke deck, it runs fun cards! Nothing wrong with liking priest and making fun decks is there?

Lets spot the cancerous priest fanboys!

CCGing since '98.

I've played 12 games in a row vs priest on standard ladder. Go to wild and play, gee can you guess? Another fucking priest.
#nerfbarnes
I've had quite a bit of success with priest, and i also see quite a bit of priest.
Oh yes, and by the way, my last 7 matches have been priest.
Fuck cubelock
Why play priest when you can play other classes and win by turn 7 and have a +5% win rate?

Not sure if hyped yet.
