people are barely trying these decks anymore, they are testing the space in the meta left by the nerfs with stuff like mid range hunter.
People get attached to decks and after nerfs they don't even want to play them if they are not broken anymore.
And btw UNREFINED decks after nerfs should be a LOT lower than 50%.
They will tweak and tech decks in the next days and weeks to come and then we will have refined decks and data enough to make conclusions.
Right now the sample size is not even big enough to say anything about it, let's just chill and wait a bit fcs.
Razakus priest is currently the most popular deck, and Jade druid is the 3rd most popular deck. this is counting "other priest" "other warlock" "other shaman" etc which lumps all the experimental decks from a given class together
Wow bro, a whole day worth of stats before the meta has settled in again really proves everyone wrong!
it proves more than blind speculation based on that one time you got really owned by a deck pre nerf that made you super raged and sure it would always be OP despite drastic changes
There's a reason VS doesn't release the written meta report articles until a few weeks after major changes like this. Even though they have readable stats as early as now, they know it's not usable yet

of course it's useable. 56% of the games where a player is using token shaman or midrange hunter that player wins. It's the same concept as later on . The meta may change but the statistics accurately reflect what's currently going on

for example if I knew that razakus priest would eventually climb to 54% that fact would currently be unusable. the only stats relevant to current games are current stats
Most statistical analysis relies on the assumption that the underlying model used for the data does not change significantly over time. If a sudden trend appears and becomes popular (like when the token shaman list started to get popular quite a long way into the Un'Goro meta, before then elemental shaman was what people played and it was pretty bad) you have to re-evaluate the data.
Vicious Syndicate reset all their win rate stats during Un'Goro meta since the meta changed significantly when token shaman became a tier 1 deck.
The link in the original post is now obsolete because they reset everything to "other priest' "other shaman" etc. we can still see however that shaman and hunter have the highest winrates as classes

there is no such assumption here. this is just a record of what's going on in the current meta
Nerf changes is similar to a new expansion release but it is in a much smaller scale. It is always chaotic in the first few days, Aggro decks always take advantage of this period to beat unrefined decks. So of course it is normal to see Aggro decks are popular with high WR right now....
A lot of the pre nerf bitching had to do with how razakus priest would be over powered and jade druid would still be overpowered. Initial stats have the 2 decks at 50%, far behind the likes of midrange hunter and token shaman https://www.vicioussyndicate.com/data-reaper-live-beta/?utm_source=main-nav&utm_medium=link
people cried about how there'd be no agro and agro is doing just fine
lmao pirate warrior still 3rd highest deck

lol .. "initial stats" ... what, the initial 8 hours?
Thats about as meaningful as the "100% win rate" deck I have. I mean, I only played 1 game, and I won, so it's "initial stats" are that it is at 100%
I wanna glide down, over Mulholland

well, I've been farming Druids and Priests with Hunter today, most of the matches were not even close

Legend with : S65 Freeze Mage, S57 Maly Gonk Druid, S57 "Okay" Shaman, S53 Boom-zooka Hunter, S53 Maly Tog Druid, S52 Wild Tog Druid ft.Blingtron, S50 Quest Rogue, S49 Dead Man's Warrior, S41 Wild Clown Fiesta Druid, S41 Hadronox Jade Druid, S40 Wild OTK Dragon Druid, S35 SMOrc Shaman, S33 Jade Druid, S22 Control Priest, S19 Control Priest
It's still way more usable than opinions of random people from this forum.

Shaman didn't get a nerf to a card that is played in the best deck they have at the moment.
Hunter traditionally punishes experimental decks which are too slow/greedy.
