I know it's a simple concept, but can anyone break down for me, how I can evaluate the best value or play possible for each turn!? I think I overthink it a lot. I usually get to around rank 5 before season end if that helps any.
I tried google before, guess I didn't look up the right thing lol. Thanks for both replies, will check out that article.
Check out r/hearthstone too, there's a lot of good articles always being posted. And I suggest watching a lot of streams since most popular streamers will explain their turns in great detail, such as trump and kolento. You can even find a free recording software to record your own games and rewatch them to evaluate your own plays, what your opponents do on certain turns, etc.
That article on value was something that I already understand. I'm more looking to know how to determine if I made the best move each turn, once again thanks for your response.
The problem is that making the best move each turn isn't enough (which might be why you're stuck at rank 5). You need to make the play that will shape the game to the state will you will win several turns down the line, even if it means playing an individual series of turns less than "optimally." Baiting overextension or removal are basic examples of this, but there are much more complex situations like deciding to win in fatigue in a control mirror while both players have 10 cards left.

A simple google search will give you a lot of different articles about value.
