You could give us tons of examples of the card doing nothing. But in turn we can give you tons of examples of Yogg winning games, getting unexpected lethal and securing board control. So calm down, Yogg is fun for some people and an effective Hail Mary play.
Remember how most people when Yogg was first shown off, how they all thought playing Yogg means you'll get hit with five Pyroblast? Remember that? Then they nerfed it. Yogg's never been a bad card. One bad case of RNG should not condemn the card.
Duh. The card got nerfed. 1600 dust for me and I don't regret it for a second, even though it was fun letting the RNG engine play with itself and win me lost games for no good reason at all. Cos that's what it did pre-nerf - it won you games should have lost. What great card design, yeah? It's not enough for RNG to win you games by putting you in an unassailable position thanks to broken mechanics, the RNG must also win you games you should lose?
There was a time when Yogg Saron was fun, even to lose against. But after a while you don't like game results coming down to non-interactive coin flips rather than skill. Good riddance.
I have won game with one spell and then played Yogg-Saron, Hope's End. I play shaman and yogg give me Ice Block. And i win that game with that secret. So it's not always bad to play it.
Yogg has a high successrate as a comeback pogchamp.
If you play him in a match your basically saying I've lost so RNG win for me. If you play home when the game could either way your basically stupid. Pardon my bluntness.
Yeah since they nerfed it yogg's average effect got more common, and on average it is mildly helpful. But the card used to be legitimately op, and can still be powerful. It does not go in top decks, but in a lot of non-meta decks it is a good choice.
Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
Just fill your deck with one drops, that is creative deck design, right?
Playing Yogg-Saron, Hope's End is like a 2-year old throwing a tantrum.
Alot happends but nothing gets done LOL.

Never 1 time have i seen this card help the player that cast it.
You've never seen it do anything? How long have you been playing this game for?
On the third day before Witchwood, Blizzard gave to me,
three Handlock decks,
two Molten Giants
and a winstreak to Legend Rank #3

Well, this thread is pretty much purposeless. Nice trash heap you got here, Champ.

So because of this one example you assume that Yogg is always as useless?

BOW DOWN BEFORE THE GOD OF DEATH
I've seen it win plenty of games by itself.
The saltpwn threads are spreading like wildfire these days.
Looks like OP tried a Yogg deck and it didn't work as planned. Salt thread direction incoming...

This one time it destroyed my opponent's Jade Druid board by casting 2*Flamestrike and a Consecration and a bunch of secrets on top of that.
The card is aids and should have never been printed. Period.
Fuck cubelock

I remember all of the naysayers when Yogg was spoiled prior to release - nobody thought that the card was playable.
The Nerfbat does not swing at unplayable cards...
