I see in every deck I played today.

This is not a topic about nerf, for me the card is ok but why so popular?

because it's such a good card and only a common so most people can actually use it. ;)

Common makes it perfect for F2P, and it's good in almost every matchups. The taunt effect against aggro, big stats for slower decks and it's not only a 9/9 worth of stats with taunt, it also has charge because you can use the +4 attack immediatly, to kill off your opponent or value trade. It's a "do everything" kinda card.

It's a 9/9 for 7, 4/4 of which has charge. It's similar to Firelands Portal if you have a minion. It's nuts when you have a board, and awful when you don't. A great example of a win-more snowball card.

I think the great thing about Bonemare is , that it helps midrange decks (like Murloc Paly) to snowball harder on the Board and to maintain stability against control decks in the mid to lategame. It has an especially outstanding synergy with Paladin .

But I feel you :D It is a very popular card in standard , and the main reason might be the 7 mana spot beeing relatively weak in standard .
Or let me re-phrase and say : It is understaffed.

There is one main issue with Bonemare though and that is a situation , where you don't have the advantage over your opponent .The worst scenario for Bonemare is an empty Board , so it is not outstanding on it`s own . Otherwise Dr. Boom is powerful as a midrange minion on it's own . I wouldn't compare them too much , because they are strong in different situations.

This is a card that rewards decks that can get to turn 7 and have the ability to carry a 7-drop without adverse effects. It's powerful, certainly,but you won't find it in Pirate Warrior or (Aggro/Face) Murloc Paladin, and many decks that want high-synergy won't take this either.

Being easy to get and available to all classes, it's a brilliantly designed card to gently guide the meta.

So it's basically a Blessing of Kings plus a taunt plus a 5/5 card. For 7 mana.

Great value - that's why it gets played :)

Awesome card. Glad its getting some love.

In order to be a "Dr." it has to be something you can drop on curve with zero board presence and suddenly be winning.

That's my opinion anyways. There's no such thing as a "Dr.  7" that occasionally sucks to play on turn 7.

No because that would imply it could be used in nearly any deck that gets to turn 7 and also doesn't need any previous setup or synergy to be powerful. So, no, it's just blizzard's gift to midrange decks

Bonemare is a good example of a well designed card. It's really good but not op at the same time, really versatile, good enough card to see play in certain decks - tempo decks, but is not an auto include in every deck. Really liking this card.

Feels like arena is often just a race to see who can bonemare first.

 I love that it curves directly into my turn 8 Shadowreaper Anduin.  I think THAT makes it not a broken card.   7 mana for a minimum of 9/10 in stats and taunt is just insane otherwise. 

 It curves with dk anduin? Not so much man. If you use Bonamare turn 7 and Anduin turn 8 you will destroy your board.

For Standard, Bonemare is a very good card. And besides some boardclears, it has the same strength as Dr. Boom, i.e. you deal with a part of the card and there is still enough left of it to be a threat. Of course this is with the assumption that Bonemare can buff something on board. But decks who play it will usually have something.

But I also think that Dr. Boom is still the better card overall.

good against druid
