INTRO: Just having a great match vs a T1 roping piece of shit animal , he's playing PW and it's kinda mind baffling what sort of retard would have to rope on a deck who's purpose is to be fast.
THERE SHOULD BE a punishment for pieces of shit that like to rope, if the rope shows up more than 3 times in a row his turn should be nazdormu'd ...playing a 20 minute game because a bitch is not shagged well enough is unacceptable.
We need a report option. Just look at LoL for example, if you are being a piece of shit -> reported, if you are feeding -> reported, if you are playing like shit -> reported.
If a good number people report an asshole in a row for roping, there might be a reason why that person should get a good 10 day timeout from the game.
They should change it so that roping could hardly be a thing: as you said, after reaching rope three times in a row (or even just twice tbh) your turns should be shrinked no matter what.
But handling report on millions of players is impossible - and useless.
I agree that waiting for ages is annoying, especially if your opponent ends up playing something stupid!I would love to be able to report this kind of people that purposely rope just to mess with you,but I don't think a report button would work..I mean people lose and then they add you to wish death upon you and everything you love, don't you think a report button could be easily abused?

I agree with a report button for people who Friend Request just to throw verbal abuse at you. Because this happens so frequently I just never accept a request which is a shame as I'd love to be able to discuss interesting matches with opponents. But its just too risky.
I totally disagree with your sentiment though. Roping is a completely fine and acceptable way of playing. Aggro decks often require far more thought in the first few turns to calculate optimal plays, often requiring processing multiple lines of play. Control in early game is often much more straightforward with fewer options.
Frankly I'm far more concerned with your abusive language and anger at aggro players. Regardless of what your opponent is using his turn time for (which isn't very long!) it really doesn't warrant such an extreme reaction.
Guys of course it's acceptable/expected to take time to think about complex plays!I think what OP meant to say is that there are people who purposely rope and end up playing nothing at the end of the turn or play something completely random..I 've come across people like this and it is very annoying. It usually goes like this..you play something, wait for 10 mins, they do nothing/do something irrelevant, you play something, then wait again for a century, then blah blah (same thing every turn) and after 5-6 turns of suffering (because they were 10 hours long each) you win because your opponent never actually tried to win/play!These people are trolls and I agree that something should be done, but yeah a report button would be abused for sure!

I just don't recognise the scenario you're describing. If someone takes their time playing I assume they are thinking about something, or they are preoccupied with something else, maybe they had their phone ring or have something cooking, who knows. Could be a million things, why let it effect you? A turn isn't 10 minutes or 10 hours, its 75 seconds, chill out.
Maybe OP is a jade druid scum and the oponent roped him on purpose so he dosent get to screw more people with his broken deck... I too rope every jade druid /aggro druid/pirates until the nerf patch hits on.
Now do you understand why OP talked about reporting? This dude here ropes on purpose against half of the meta's decks and thinks it's ok,if he can't win he 'll screw you for playing something he doesn't like...Well played bro!

Well I have come across many people doing what I described..a phone doesn't ring every turn and you don't need 75 seconds to use a dagger and not attack every turn, some people rope on purpose. It affects me because my free time is limited and I want to play against normal people who also want to play the game, not trolls..I obviously used "10 hours","10 mins" etc for emphasis and I wasn't literal..
No. If you are do not like cancer comments, just don't accept friend requests after games where your opponent has a reason to be salty.
If you don't like roping, request to change roping rules. Personally, I believe they are fine as they are, and they already punish things like connection issues quite harshly. Roping on purpose is silly, and I do not believe any top players do it. Ropers waste their own time as well as their opponent's, time that could have been used for their next game.
Pushing people for roping would be really bad design, there a reason it's in the game. Turns have time limits. That is their time for their turn. They can use it however they would like. If you aren't patient enough/get tilted when they intentionally do it, than you're just feeding them. Get a better attitude??? Would you feel better if they only saw the rope? This happens to me all the time, mostly against control shaman in wild.
Also just don't accept friend requests after you beat someone, pretty simple.
While I agree that ropers are pieces of garbage. It's still within the games mechanics. What I WOULD like to see is either the time per term lowered or maybe change the time lengths by turn. For example
Turns 1-3 = 30 seconds
Turns 4-6 = 60 seconds
Turn 7+ = 90 seconds
There IS NO reason to rope especially the first two turns. This would help eliminate that.

I disagree because there is sometimes a legit decision to make on the first turns of the game and using or saving a card can be the difference between winning and losing. You can be playing around doomsayer as an aggro players going first. you have to count your damage to see if you can kill it, knowing that there is a chance that it can be coined out on their turn one.
I although agree that people that do rope to BM is annoying AF. But like you mentioned is within the rules of the game and they arent doing anything wrong. They are just being assholes.
The biggest problem with your thread, and idea, is that you are complaining about something that isn't against the rules. Roping isn't breaking any rule, so what exactly would you be reporting them for?
Bad idea is bad. And stupid.

The 1st step towards a better game is firing Mike Donais! We had enough of his "skillful" balances!
#FireMikeDonais
this is no children´s cardgame like league of legends where everyone reports everyone ... hehe
Im with you on that but unfortunately, people are allowed to do whatever they want in this game.

This would require Blizzard to actually care about their costumers, and we all know that won't happend

I am hoping for two changes in the coming years:
1. A report option for verbal abuse. Not for anything else.
2. Whenever a player starts robing, he will permanently lose 3 seconds each turn for the rest of the game.

They won, by setting you off.
And report what, a lack of patience and being tilted? Take a breath and a break from HS and cool off.

be kind and considerate
This game is not a safe space. Oh i report you for useing well played after you win. Yeah you're a victim.
You seem too tilted/salty to think rationally, just don't let it bother you man, it is a video game
