Hey guys,i wanna know your opinion about buying packs or adventures,do you guys think its a waste of money?i usually get 60 pack each mouth, this money is not needded anywhere else,so i kind of use it for entertainment, some packs and a ps4 game that i think is worth it,when i started i was a f2p for two months and the most badass card i had was evolve, and only one copy because i didnt had dust to craft the second one,now im kind of addicted in opening packs xD.
I dont think its a p2w game, but if you dont want to spend money you have to invest a lot of your time (which i dont have) into it to get good decks,so i dont think that buying packs or adventures is waste of money, its like DLC for some games.
Probably someone already made a thread like this, but im new to this site so i dint found it,anyway thx for your opinions.
It only becomes a problem if you end up how I did for a short while; addicted to opening packs without the necessary funds to support it.
I soon learnt that whenever I felt I just had to open a pack I'd come on this site and open them here instead. As soon as I did that and no Legendaries appeared I'd quickly remember that the odds were exactly the same in game.
I've spent a lot of money over the last two and half years playing hearthstone and I really don't have much to show for it. I've not even got many Legendaries (maybe 10 which aren't from in game rewards.)
If you just make sure to remember that when the new content is realised much of your old cards could rotate then you'll not feel hard done by that your money has effectively disappeared.

Please don't tell my girlfriend about my card collection...
I prefer golden cards and having a complete collection. I also work and have excess cash. I don't mind paying for a hobby I enjoy. I like the changes to no more duplicate legendaries and hearing the word LEGENDARYYYY>
I find the whole ordeal too expensive for my taste. I have a lot of time so i get a lot of gold, play a lot of arena, get a ton of dust. Would never ever pay the entry fee in cash, just ridicilous. The starter pack was great value, one preorder was fine but never needed to get more. I want to spend money on gvg packs since it's a set i don't own, but the price for something that is 0 worth in standard is absolutely bonkers. So i just crafted shredders and healbots instead. 160 dust is like a fart in the wind compared to 3 cases of beer.
If packs were cheaper (especially in big bulk) i'd spend a lot more
I'm a free player because I don't have the money. But I absolutely intend to buy packs and whatnot when I do, for one because I like the game and I'm a mad scientist who happens to like most classes; I want more toys to play around with, and I like the Legendaries so spending money helps getting those.
I also would like to make video content about this (and other) games so I guess that helps justify paying for it, but really if you gain enjoyment buying the cards and wouldn't rather (or don't need to) spend the money on anything else then you're good, as others have said. However if you call yourself "addicted" to buying packs then you might want to pay attention to your habits because you should only be buying what you want, not buying for its own sake. =P

If you can afford it, no sweat... but if it worries you or bothers you when you think about it, then don't.
spending money which you are okay to part with (especially if you don't have time to grind) seems very reasonable

Question everything.
If you like the game buy some cards as it enables you to play better cards.
However, I would advise not to buy too many cards as the game changes over time and you dont want to be overinvested into it. ;)
