So we've still got to live with insane ramp into UI into multiple fucking jade idols? Even though that is all we were complaining about? Seriously, why could they just nerf jade idol? They don't even mention it, they don't even mention any jade cards at all?!? It's like they pretend its not the problem - it's precisely what causes Ultimate Infestation to be so broken.
"Well this turn I'll summon a larger and larger man, which will allow me later on to summon an even larger man!" - R.I.P wild forever. Such a shame.
There's nothing wrong with the jade mechanic. It's a control killer and that's not a bad thing to have. What they did was weaken druid in a big way against faster decks. Innervate was good at helping ramp to powerful cards quickly. This ramping helped make cards like UI and spreading plague all the more powerful. The spreading plague nerf was pretty mild, but every bit helps and it is one of the biggest problems for decks trying to beat jade druid.
I wouldn't have minded a jade idol nerf, but jade and aggro both got a bit worse with the innervate nerf.

Are you sure? The only truly viable counters to Jade Druids on the ladder right now were murloc paladin and (sadly) aggro druid. They both got hit with nerfs too. I am seriously in shock right now they did nothing to deal with jade druid, if anything right now, to me they quasi-buffed it ...it's unreal.
Jade problem was never a problem pre KFT. The problem was the introduction of the NEW cards. So stop crying about Jade!!! Jade in and of itself is fine.

So much is wrong about Jades:
_ it's the most boring kind of ability possible : blank pile of stats are the most uninteractive kind of minions in Hearthstone. The most interesting part about card games are abiliies, and how they match up against one another. But nothing counters blank pile of stats. Takes handbuff for a comparaison (similar ability in many aspects) : if this strategy becomes popular, then i have ways to target it specifically with things like Sap/Vanish/Devolve/Silence/Mass Dispel. No counters of the sort exists against Jades.
_ it's the stupidest form of deckbuilding : since there is no cap for Jade golems, each additionnal Jade card become exponantially more powerful. So the best and only way to build your deck is to type Jade Golem in the search bar, and put every results in your deck : what a creative brainstorming.
_ Jade Idol is a tech card with 0 opportunity cost ! Its front half is already busted (basicallya 1 mana Grimestreet Outfitter), but the second half completely obliterates some strategies (grinder & mill, and to a lesser extent all control decks) for no opportunity cost ! Flare was nerfed for that very reason, yet Jade Idol has the exact same issue !
_ Jade Druid has extremely polarized matchups Jade Golem are already control-killer by nature, and Jade Idol polarize those matchup even more ! Quest Rogue was nerfed for that very reason, despite being much less efficient on ladder and much more difficult to play.
_ the gameplan of Jade Druid is extremely simple & straightforward to play, with very little decision making in the first 6-7 turns. The trickiest aspect of playing that deck was how to play Innervate correctly, which has been removed.
And now you're telling me i have to suffer 8 more months of that BS design and the retarded meta going with it ? For the first time, i am considering quitting Hearthstone, as i am tired to pay the prices fir the devs making the same mistakes over and over again (and i went through Huntardtaker and Secret Paladin eras).
I agree with just about everything you said. What I'd like to know is why Blizzard completely ignored jades with the round of nerfs?...we didn't even get any feedback from them on it. We heard what they think about Ice Block and Ultimate Infestation, despite there being no nerfs there. So why the silence?
Screw it ... Im just gonna make a Jade deck. They nerf every deck I play to specifically counter Jades, and barely, if at all, do a damn thing to the actual problem.
If ya can't beat 'em (or rely on Blizz to nerf 'em), may as well just become part of the cancer crowd until next expansion.

They just nerfed the aggro decks that target jade druid.
Also, I don't know why anyone is shocked that Idol wasn't nerfed. They just printed Skulking Geist, there is no way they were going to change Idol. It should be noted that Idol was indirectly nerfed along with any miracle style druid decks.

It's because they want to sell packs, plain and simple.
