The real problem imo is because Druid is powerful, jade is powerful. It isn't jades fault for the new issues but the mechanic in this deck was always an issue especially now as it drives all the interesting, new control decks out of the meta and forces people to play high roll or aggro. So Druid op makes jade beat its opponents causing people to play counters which means the meta gets rekt. I wouldn't mind druid being good if the main deck didn't force dumb counters.
Jades always show up late to the party, they bring more guests than their invitation allowed. They drink excessively at the open bar, and then they break things and make a huge mess. To top it off they never bring a proper gift, typically a bad re-gift or something from a thrift store. In addition, they don't seem to get the concept of bathing or using deodorant.

Free to try and find a game, dealing cards for sorrow, cards for pain.
"aggro decks counter Jade Druid" sure Druid players are "so dumb" they will never keep in hand Wrath and Spreading Plague against Warrior for sure, not even the 2 mana 1/5 cuase those are "weak cards agains aggro"
i keep reading in threads like this one "wait until the meta settles"...how much more do you need the meta to settle? more druids every day, jade druid completely warping the meta into it and its 'counters'. never seen such a straight up broken deck, and i played during the undertaker-/karazhanshaman-nonsense.
I don't get why're you're saying aggro works so well. It's matchup against aggro is much better compared to MSG. New cards like crypt lord and especially spreading plague, which is effective against control and aggro. The main thing that aggro wants to do is develop board and tempo out. Even having just 4 minions is 20 health gain for the druid and can buy 1-2 turns, which is big for druid. Ridiculous health gain is also why they're thriving as well. There are tools for druid to deal with aggro and if youre saying its weak to it, you probably aren't teching the right cards.
do you now what is the issue with jades, aside from the actual?
with any other deck that were meta dominant (pirates, murlocs), you can tech it to screw their strategy at turn 1, and if you are lucky enought, turn 2 too. with jades you need to wait to turn 6 (meanwhile, the druid will cast ultimate infestation on your face), and that 4/6 card doesn't win you the table or help you to do that.
i was playing silence and kazakus priest. buff, murloc and control paladin, miracle and mill rogue, elemental mage and some other random decks in this last week. can't win those damn jades or aggro hunter. nothing to do.
i will flooding the ladder with jades this week to, so is a free elo (come on, who will cast spreading plague with no minions on the table? just some guy with no idea how to play. and guess what, next turn he drop fandral and flood the table with jade until 12/12 completed the last spot, game over)

You can considered a meta..not SETTLED..but stable enough to draw conclusions at around the 2 week mark. It's why I suggest F2Pers to start crafting at that point.
So yeah, new decks can show up (stable tends to be at 1 month, with the exception of Goro which lasted until almost the next expansion which is impressive) but druid being dominate is going to be the defining factor. That Blizzard has already did their "monitoring" chime in now instead of, say, 2 months after the expansion like they did with MSG is a sign of the issues.
Play pirate warrior?? Are you fucking kidding me? So to have the slightest of chance on ladder I should play degenerate deck A, because it's the only counter to degenerate deck B. Fuck that, if this doesn't proof Blizzard should step in and kill off both bullshit decks nothing does.
You know what you just described? A rock-paper-scissors meta. You know what causes a rock-paper-scissors meta? A broken deck.
1. <insert broken mechanic> (in this case, jade druid)
2. <broken mechanic dominates>
3. <to do well, you either have to abuse the broken mechanic or play a deck that counters it (in this case aggro, even though that doesn'te ven hardcounter it)
4. <people start playing decks that counter the meta, which happen to be decks that fall prey to the broken mechanic (if they didn't, everyone would play those)
So now you have: Rock-jade druid Paper-Aggro Scissors-control

Problem is though, that right now Druid - as a class - is a pickaxe.
Jades are like pirate warrior last expansion, they are very powerful. Jade druid have one weakness, that is aggro decks. Jade druid right now is the king of late game but knowing that, why do people still try to play their shitty control decks on ladder only to lose and complain on forums? Murloc Paladin beats Jade druid very well and jades beat control, and control beats murloc paladin. I believe this is pretty well balanced, eventually everyone will start to counter jade with murloc paladin and jade won't be as popular on ladder anymore. I played murloc paladin and went against at least 20 jade druids at rank 10-4, only lost once and that was token druid, so I dont understand why so many people - who know they will que against jades - still use control decks, if you think playing control is fun then go to casual or something. If you want a deck out of the meta then play its counter
edit: Jades are annoying, but imo they are not as bad as undertaker hunter, patron warrior, worgen otk, force of nature savage roar, and pirate warrior. jades r something blizzard wants to try out and if you look at these old broken decks it took them a long time for a nerf, so give jades some time (im not a druid main btw)
No, it's knowing that as soon as I see them...it's over. No matter what I do, no matter how smart I play, or what cards I draw or mulligan. They win. Automatic win, every time. That means it's broken. They probably know it and are working to make it not broken, but until then people are going to complain. Why would I want to keep going up against broken nonsense?
Play its counter, I dont see why you still try to play control decks knowing you will go against jades and knowing they will win every time.
If everyone is forced to play pirate warrior to counter jade druid, then that means jade druid is OP. Ideally there will be good and bad match-ups in any meta but it should never be that you must play a counter deck in order to have a chance at winning.
Well, it's better than no counter. Did pirate warrior have any counter? Patron Warrior? Worgen OTK?
Did pirate warrior get nerfed? Patron Warrior? Worgen OTK? Yes, they did, and so should Druid.

On the third day before Witchwood, Blizzard gave to me,
Quest mage is also really good against jade. The meta hasn't really settled yet. If there really is a problem it will be fixed. When people start to settle into strong decks we will see what kind of decks remains at the top.
No, it isn't that good. It's a coinflip.
They're at 50/50 over 5000 games at VS stats. Then consider that quest mage is horrible against the field, and you're left with a deck that is shitty.
The meta is settled. The competitive decks on ladder are jade druid, aggro druid and pirate warrior.
Enjoy.

I don't trust the statistic of exodia mage vs jade druid. Exodia mage is a tough deck to pilot. If you eliminate all the players that don't have a ton of experience with exodia mage or freeze mage, I would bet my entire collection, exodia is favored.
Your suggestion only highlights the issue, and admits defeat. That isn't what the meta should be about. Having to tech in cards is one thing, dedicating a deck to tech against something is another. Because it won't make there be less Druids. There may even be more, because the best counter against Druid is Druid.
Also, people can complain if they want, as long as they aren't donkeys about it. The nature of the internet and all.
