I've made a legit Control hunter in wild, with 4 amazing board clears. You can easily find these combo cards using tracking which is honestly not a bad card all thanks to the hunter DK providing unlimited value. Tracking makes it much easier for us to find the DK faster, great especially against another control deck.
Here's the list, and if you guys need any explanations on why I used those specific cards, here is the link to the deck.
I just reached rank 5 with MidRange Hunter (DK Rexxar included) so it is not "poor" Rexxar as you call him :)
Learn to play hunter bruh
I am a main-hunter with over 600wins within a year and I hit rank 3 with secret hunter while MSoG and legend after first month of Un'Goro with the midrange. It's so easy to win even nowadays with midrange aggro hunter having the DK as the last win-condition but I called him Poor Rexxar because I tried every single method to make a controlish deck but it's not competitive yet (hit max rank 11). When you can make a better deck then mine and climb well, then tell me how to play hunter :'(
I lost my interest in HS after the pathetic approach of MSoG with the handbuff (still useless, non meta - like jade or highlander decks) mechanic, so I changed to TES:L. Hunter can be piloted to legend, but hell you need a lot of luck and knowledge of the meta. I crafted golden Rexxar just for fun.
Bearshark is the hell of a card against priesst, mages and druids. And properly buffed, it can snowball really neat. However, consider the fact that hunter is going to suck for another year (suck := non meta, meme or rogue deck, teching for the meta).

9. Longer reply on the deck itself.
