So what are your impressions after 1st day of expansion? What decks have chance to dominate meta in next days/weeks? It seems that this Warlock deck going to be Tier 1 but what else??
I've played around with the Warlock DK and so far he seems to be really good. I also played around with both the Druid and Paladin DK's and they both seem to be solid. I made a midrange Paladin deck featuring my beloved set of Paladin legendaries and the new DK and Bolvar and it's doing quite well.
I like Frost Lich Jaina for control decks. It's not a win condition, but unless you're already beat when you play her, that one card can make mage just about impossible to kill before fatigue.
I've bumped into some utterly obnoxious Elemental Mage, Burn Priest, and Control Warrior decks so I think most of them are solid in one form or another.
Can't say the same for Thrall though. I've tried playing him in token shaman but everyone has wizened up to not allowing you an early board and his battlecry is useless if you don't have an established board already. His hero power is nice but if you were already behind it's just simply not going to save you unless Rngesus took pity on you and evolved your minion into the perfect answer.
Loving my improved Dragon Priest now that I can bring powerful dragons back from the dead up to six separate times. No complaints about the Deathrattle Hunter I'm running either. I got the Shaman DK but haven't found a use for him yet.
This sort of deck is pretty OP for the time being. It's the first deck i was set on building because i love Raza, deathrattles, and resurrection mechanics. I am 7-0 which means i haven't lost a game on ladder yet this expansion. Which does not sound like much, but some of these games lasted up to 30 minutes. This is a refreshing difference and i hope that it lasts longer than a couple weeks.
I only face like Combo Priest, Miracle card steal Rogue and a confusing Warlock list. I dont get those Warlocks what streamer made that kind of deck where u make turn 1-4 nothing but lifetap + aoe and maybe void caller. Drawing your complete deck/lifetap. and then like round 20 he play the Hero, i make one AOE and the Warlock Die in fatigue.. Doesnt get the point of that warlock, how he wanna win, when he doesnt do anything like first 10 turns. And looks like only 8 Drop is Lichking, most minions are just likt 4/5 or so.
Myself playing Frost Lich Jaina-freeze-survival-fatigue game. Is very fun. And got one of the funniest and crazys Fatigue Rounds ever. I like the meta, no boring aggro decks, like every game last until fatigue or close to fatigue ;)
Kazakus priest feels like tier 0 to me. Jade Druid with infestation and control paladin are probably slightly worse but still really good. Honestly everything else I've tried or seen other people try seems really bad compared to these 3. I hope new powerful decks are discovered soon...
Yup,im running the same priest list. Just beat a jade druid who had 2 idols left and used his 2 earthen scales on a 14/14 golem.he was also in dk form,so 3 armor each turn. But i took him down from 40+HP. Yes, Tyrande the reaper is this strong right now.
I'm doing well with elemental/dragon mage with frost lich jaina. It is very easy to get a minion to 1 health and finish them off with your hero power. Sindragosa and bone drakes generate so much value! I once picked up drakonid op from bone drake which gave me an archmage benedictus. I ended up beating him with fatigue!
I'm working with Unconventional Mage and Druid decks to see if I can come up with something original. So far I've come up with some progressions that are downright busted but getting them to be consistent is the hard part. Unfortunately when I finish tweaking them they'll probably look pretty standard. I'm determined not to net deck this expansion though.

Priest deck with Raza seems OP aswell

Jade and Aggro Druid, DK wont see any play just like the quests

Legend: April 2017, April 2018.
Right now meta is very control so jade is good unless you run into Geist lol.
But I'm pretty sure some faster decks will become better later like shaman and druid tokens .
