Normally for me I typically have good luck on day 1 of expansions when opening packs and getting multiple legendaries but not so much this time around.
100 Packs total, Going in hearthstone packs left order:
90 = Keleseth
69 = Garrosh
64 = Bolvar (Golden)
33 = Thrall
And that was it. Epics weren't kind either. Granted I managed to get 21 epics but 3 were a triplicate and 8 others were duplicates resulting in only 15 unique epics.
Does the legendary pull sound right with the change in the pity timer? I thought it was 1 in every 10 packs but I'm recalling something about that being China only?
With the new pack and legendary rules, you are guaranteed in first 10, 1 guaranteed every 40 thereafter. So in 90 packs you can expect 3 legendaries and in 130 packs you can expect 4. The averages will be a bit higher, but I think it's good to go in with the minimum expectations since someon has to be on the low and (and it feels like its typically me! [confirmation bias].
Personally, I opened 87 packs and only got 3 legendaries (Anduin, Archbishop, Arfus). Below average? Probably, but not lower than expected.
the average is 1:20 pity timer is set to a guaranteed 1 after 40 except for the recent patch that now gives in a guaranteed legendary in the first 10 packs. Out of 100 you should average about 5.5 or so 6.5 including the free DK this time around. It looks like you hit pretty close to the average.
35 pack 4 legendary 1st pack rotface 2nd pack The Lich King a few packs later rafas then about 30th Prince Taldaram (I almost cry if I not getting 2 leg in 1st and 2nd pack)
Opened 103 packs and got 7 legendaries, including 1 golden. Got two of the Princes, to be fair, but they helped fund my copy of Anduin. I also got most of the epics I wanted, and after disenchanting some stuff I KNOW I personally will never use, I had enough for 3 more legendaries, + the golden Valeera I'd already made, and the free Rexxar from the prologue. I'm pretty happy tbh, much happier than I was after opening about 150 Un'Goro packs and getting 6 legendaries, 4 of which was duplicates of each other. Sorry if I sound like I'm bragging or anything, I'm just commenting to hopefully help dispel the drop rate rumour that's still spreading. Definitely has been improved, some people just have really bad luck and I totally feel for you guys.
Well met!

I got 8 in 126 but only 3 in the first 70 and the last 5 came in the last 56 to make up for it
Why can't people understand this? It is 1 in FIRST 10 packs. After the first 10 packs, it's 1 in 40.

4 legendaries from 125 packs. This might be my last xpansion of HS. I'm getting sick of the game anyway and this drop rate is just sickening to me.
Got 8 out of 156, one golden. Plus the free DK
73 packs, got 5 Legendaries, one of which was Golden. Not counting the freebie, ofc.
Make the Card: The biggest thread on the site!
My mandibles which are capable of pressing down and tearing, my talons which are known to intercept and hold.
I got 5 out of 60 packs. Not including the free one.

Dust does not burn a hole in the jar. Be careful what you craft, especially before and right after a rotation.
