Lol...that first statement alone is why you shouldn't listen to pro predictions on upcoming cards. I mean, am I only the only one who remembers how everyone said Tunnel Trogg would never be viable because the Overload mechanic was soooo underpowered, how Ethereal Conjurer's 3 health would prevent it from ever being viable, how Brann Bronzebeard was best reserved as a meme card, how Mysterious Challenger wouldn't work because any Paladin deck built around it would be too overflowed with useless Secrets, and especially the thoughtless comments on how Grim Patron didn't have enough stats for its cost. This all is such a good support for why we shouldn't be afraid to test our own ideas and hopes on the game, even if they end up being lightyears away from what we thought they would be. All you have to do is keep faith and choose wisely - you could be the forger of the next meta.
Says toasts is wrong, adds link to Toast being basically correct (it was one of the strongest legendaries for a long time during the C'thun warrior reign).
Guys while you are evaluating competitiveness of an expansion you should consider the decks currently in meta and look out for possibly new archetypes. MTG introduced to the heartstone really strong archetypes with Pirate Warrior and Jade decks and filled some gaps of the reno decks. Reno rotated and those Mtg cards started to see less play.
In the case of Ungoro new archetypes was not that much strong except quest rogue but Ungoro was able to fill the gaps of other archetypes so diversity increased too much
But when you look at the KFT there is not much cards to replace seriously only some tech cards for late game decks but they will slightly increase playibility of those late game decks but there will be not much of impact.
I think real impact will be on the Arena there is too many good arena cards in the KFT and some wild decks will be stronger than before but it will not redefine standart meta.
So I think Wild and Arena are also important game modes in the game but competitive game is most important so that is why most of the cards are considered bad in this expansion

So he's saying that 20% of the cards in the set will see competitive play? Then this will be the best expansion ever!
But we all know how accurate the streamer's card ratings are. They do not quite hit the mark.
