The issue with Gul'Dan is that the only relevant taunts are Voidcaller and Felhound. The first is cleared exceptionally easily and the second has the issue of being a discard card.
The problems with Gul'dan in a discard deck are obvious (although admittedly not insurmountable - you just have to accept that the deck aims only to highroll).
Voidcaller makes sense in a more traditional handock, but probably isn't saving you at 10 mana.
I rated this card a 2 on a 0 to 4 scale, so I don't think it's garbage. But it will take a lot of love.
Defile is NOT a good card and won't see play, its too situational and will rarely ever be cast more than twice. jeez im sick of seeing everyone rave over that shit card
OP asked "Which class did get the best cards from KotFT?", and some people answered to that.
But other people here answered a different (unasked) question, like "Which class will be the strongest now?", or "Which class will have access to the best cards when KotFT kicks in (including whole standard format)?".
The two would coincide only if the best deck for a class was made solely with newest expansion cards, all 30 of them. But in my (admittedly scarce) experience, that is seldom the case. So even if we agreed on class X having received the best KotFT cards, that would not necessarily mean that X is the strongest class in KotFT (maybe because it was in such a sad state before that the new goodies aren't nearly enough).
1. Shaman: It is true that Shaman class cards aren't exciting, but it has a lot of neutral cards that fits very well with the current tier 1 tokens/evolve shaman Rattling Rascal and Saronite Chain Gang.
2. Paladin. Right now has a tier 1 murlock deck that is still going to be dominating. But also I think at least 2 new decks are going to be in the ladder as tier 2 and tier 3, aggro paladin and OTK DK Paladin. Also Buffadin could be a thing
Tier 2
3. Warlock. With Defile and Despicable Dreadlord I think Warlock would survive the early and mid in more matches. And now Warlock a great late with the best DK. Also it could tech agains combo decks like Exodia and even control decks with one copy of Treachery and Howlfiend
4. Warrior. Taunt warrior is still a good deck and control warrior will be more powerful with one copy Skulking Geist and two of Dead Man's Hand. Pirate warrior it will be also powerful like now.
5. Druid. Jade druid it will be still a thing, even with Skulking Geist but it will be lose more matches in control vs control decks
6. Mage. Exodia mage is going to win more games because there will be more control decks in the beggining. But later in the expansion, it would be the same. Also Elemental DK mage could be a great deal.

All in all, I think the set as a whole is just underwhelming. But time shall tell whether or not the meta will be shook.
Druid probably
Seems ok.

7. Hunter. Corpse Widow and Abominable Bowman could make midrange deathrattle hunter something very good
8.Priest Maybe new revive mage would work. OTK DK Priest I think would be not consistent, but funny.
9. Rogue Roll the Bones could be the ingredient for an other midrange deathrattle rogue. But I think it wiould not be good enough
As for cards I think Corpsetaker will be one of the best cards in the set
A glorious bundle of salt.
