I don't think anyone's gonna complain about mage being done dirty though
I will : (. I love mage, it's my "main" class, my only golden class, and we recive nothing, only dust, pretty sad. But, we were tier 1 for long time, I understand, its time to let others shine.
Well, what I know for sure it's that mage receive the worstest. I didn't understand blizzard idea with the class, it does not improve nothing that has, and didin't push nothing new. Only crap spell to nerf Gliph (what was necessery).
To be fair, the death knight does push the elemental mage decks which is fairly new to the class and it needed the powerful late game reason to run elementals. Everything else is basically shit because mage already has the most powerful basic and classic set.
Also, I am confused by the people saying shaman was treated well. He mostly got cards for an archetype that will take another set or 2 to be truly viable. His deathknight is questionable and doesn't fit into the bloodlust shaman deck. Why run an additional 5 cost card and swap your hero power for a worse one when you can just run evolve? Master of evolution sees no play either, so clearly the mechanic is only good because dopplegangster works so well, and evolve is so cheap. All around a bad set for him, with the giants being his best new card.

Please... Mage should get the warlock treatment for the next 3 expansions, so many broken class cards.
I really like the Druid, Rogue and Priest cards. I think Shaman is overrated, other than Voodoo Hexer the other cards look pretty awkward. I would rate Warrior higher just because I think Blood Razor is going to be the card of the set.

Hahahaha why so rude man? It already got this exp, plus the next one this is year and I think its already fair. Alex will probally go HOF next year, it will be a hig hit mage. In general, I agree, I think its time for mage to be at the bottom.

I would be shocked if the current mage decks stopped being tier 1.
Druid clearly got the best spells in the game (minus the 5 mana spider spell) and probably the easiest (if not most boring) hero card to build around. Cost isn't a big deal for druids.
Paladin just got a bunch of good cards in general and the best DK in my opinion.
Warlock got the second best DK along with some really cool possibilities with treachery and a new demon with a good effect that doesn't discard your hand.
Rogue got some solid cards and a very unique DK that is super hard to evaluate.
Priest got the second most boring DK but it could be a great late game card and they got some stupidly good minions.
Warrior got a lot of synergy in their card lineup.
Mages did get some elemental support, albeit minor, which is fine because mages have a busted core set right now (mage main talking).
Shamans got a new archtype but might lack support while their DK is good that's about the only definitively good thing they got.
Hunters actually got some really good cards, but face is the place for the helpful hunter folks so they probably won't utilize half of the good cards they got. Other classes would put them to better use.
I don't think that Ghastly Conjurer is good enough, if the Meta actually shift and aggro decks become low tier and uncommon it will be really bad (in standard it will be even worse). In wild it is hard to believe that aggro decks will be torn apart that badly because of cards like Ship's Canon, so it might be really nice. I will be experimenting with it as soon as the set is released, and will upload changes into my Exodia Mage decklist (I already added Simulacrum to the list). If I will see enough aggro decks I will probably add Ghastly Conjurer, but it is just a dead card vs Control so it is hard to believe it will make the cut.
I think Priest comes out on top, I know a lot of people aren't pleased with the Priest cards but none of them are awful at all.
1) Anduin is one of the best Death Knights in Standard and the best Death Knight in Wild
2) Archbishop Benedictus is a misunderstood Legendary, people have only thought about playing Archbishop on curve but I think you can wait to play Archbishop until you're in the late game and only shuffle enough cards into your deck in order to win on fatigue.
3) Obsidian Statue is either a Discover buff or enables N'zoth and Corpse Taker.
4) Embrace Darkness is a situational Mind Control, it's probably the weakest card in the class.
5) Shadow Essence is enabling combo shenanigans
6) Devour Mind is an insane value card
7) Eternal Servitude is an insane tempo and card selection option
8) Acolyte of Agony is the card every one is scoffing at but I think this is the sleeper card of the set, vs aggro it's basically 3/3 Taunt, Heal 3 damage and gives Priest options in the 3 drop slot where Curious Glimmerroot is awful vs aggro. Whatsmoreso the card enables Corpse Taker and a line up of 2 Acolyte of Agony, 2 Corpse Taker and 2 Sunwalker is probably no joke vs aggro.
9) Spirit Lash is probably a Reno style card but there could be other Circle of Healing and card draw shenanigans to be had
10) Shadow Ascendant is probably the other weak card of the set but it still isn't awful by any means
11) Happy Ghoul is a pretty ridiculous card as you either get a 3/3 for 2 mana or if you are running the Corpse Taker builds or Priest of the Feast you just get a free body out of nowhere, also it combines with your mass removal to put a free body on the board as well.
I can't see any other class that made out as well as that, I mean there is only 1 weak spell and questionable minion compared to all of the terrible stuff that Rogue, Warlock, Warrior and Mage got.
Shaman absolutely made out alright, the 2 mana Merloc and the 2 mana draw Merloc spell are solid for The Curator value and Water Aggro and some of the other stuff seems pretty useable as well.

Well, lifesteal will be a hard counter to burn strategies, mage was never good with minion base decks, secret mage its the only thing left.
The problem with this question is that the metagame right now is so diverse, and most decks are on par with one another, that no one class really gained or lost THAT much.
I think Priest and Rogue closed the gap between the top 5 classes (Mage, Paladin, Warrior, Druid, Shaman).
And I think Hunter and Warlock are still trash tier.
how the hell do you guys think warlock got good cards? for me it is druid, pally, priest? and then the others didn't get much that's realistically playable in good decks imo. hunter and warlock being the absolute worst. hunter is just all garbage to the class. warlock unless bloodreaver guldan carries hard, which i doubt because it's too expensive and the effect is not great( the hero power is quite insane though) i don't see warlock being good.
For me it is:
1 Druid
2 Walock
3 Shaman
4 Paladin
5 Rogue
6 Priest
7 Warrior
8 Hunter
9 Mage
Overall, a good set.
For those who need a reminder, the cards are here.
Yeah mage got done dirty.
Paladin, Shaman, and Druid are gonna dominate.
Rogues right behind them
Fuck cubelock
As a mage main I believe her cards comparing to the other classes, were really underwhelming.
I will still get Lich Jaina.
None. TGT 2.0. Jade/token druid/shaman pirate warrior tier 1.
If you think a 9 mana 3/6 is good enough, good luck.
My magic will tear you apart!

I think Rogue and Priest did the best. Druid, Paladin, Mage, and Warrior did okay. Shaman, Hunter, and Warlock got fucked.

Hmm, this expansion will see more of a control meta, mayhap not strong enough to out teir aggro. My prediction
Tempo druid pushes into teir 1
Mid-range Hunter pushes to teir 1
Singleton control warlock teir 2 maybe 1
Only aggro to remain teir 1 will be shaman
