I like what the are doing with Druid and giving them the option to summon poisonous spiders. Druid doesn't have any reliable removal spells besides Naturalize and Swipe . But they are now pushing for Druid to remove minions using 1/2s. I think Druid will get out of Jade and start trying this cool new variant which might suck or might not. Tell me what you guys think about Druid having removal in 1/2 minions.
I think the spell Webweave isn't going to be played because it's too linear and may be a Dead card in most situations and is always a dead card against classes with easy Access to AOE, like Mage, Shaman, Priest. Mages even have pings, so these 1/2 might not survive next turn. These are only good mostly when the board is empty preventing your opponent from playing strong minions and forcing him to make sub-optimal plays.
However the card Druid of the Swarm is pretty good because if it's not a good time to play a 1/2 Poisonous, you can always go with 1/5 taunt which gives you a lot of time to put big stuff alongside it or on next turn.
The hero card Malfurion the Pestilent is even better and is my favorite Hero card. Again it gives you flexibility allowing you to summon two 1/2 Poisonous minions if board is empty or you are sure that your opponent doesn't have 2 damage or against aggro/midrange you can summon two 1/5 Taunts which more than makes up for the tempo loss of spending 7 mana and it leaves you with the best Hero Power among all Death Knights.
Webweave alone is bad, but it's good combined with a 7 mana card which also gives you 5 armor and flexibility to summon Taunts.
I think Druid will be Tier 1 this expansion. Druid already had big minions and small damage cards. Now it's got great anti aggro cards and some Poisonous minions which might not kill something big but it will at least prevent your opponent from playing something big.
I like these cards very much because it increases the skill instead of RNG because making the choice between Poisonous and Taunt could be hard and game deciding.
I think 1/2s with poisonous are pretty strong in control matchups, the stremgh of DK and the new 2 drop is also the flexebility since theyll also work vs aggro.
