i have never bought and expansion and never will, i always have 10-14k gold by the time when an expansion coming (atm got 13k, maybe i will hit 14k by next week)
I would have probably preordered if the card back was top notch but it's pretty horrible considering it's supposed to be Frostmourne. it doesn't give me that epic feeling at all, there was lots of room for visual improvement.

Yeah even I would design something epic with the help of the inspiration of Frostmourne's hilt and runes. tho

You can't even tell it's Frostmourne by looking at that card back it's just plain bad. Having some of the steel running across the card with glowing runes would have been way better...Many things would have been way better.
Nope, free to play here prices are ridiculous for cards packs.
You pay full retail price of a game to have a change to make a viable deck and maybe not even the deck you want to play or try out and are only useable until they rotate out to wild.
Maybe i am cheap but i cant see myself paying 50 euro for this reasons.
I'm glad you shared this. I wanted to see what it was like to get a pretty complete expansion experience so I spent $100 on Un'Goro. Man was that a wake-up call of a mistake!
I didn't get to craft many of the decks I wanted to play. $100 and can't even enjoy a full expansion, which, yikes, needs future purchases to stay relevant. Ummm.... no thanks.
Though I enjoy Hearthstone, the cost, for me, is just ridiculous given the fact of how many other things I enjoy too, especially other video games. This business model makes me think of Call of Duty's or Madden's on steroids. And I'm just not going to purchase any more packs unless I can be guaranteed expansion set completion for a reasonable cash or time price. FTP from here on out now.
[I'd be interested in taking a Blizzard demographics survey.]
This set feels like TgT to me. A lot of oddball cards and mechanics that won't get appreciated until an expansion or two later when the meta evolves past it and people are rummaging in their toolbox to find things to work with.
I don't see a reason to not pre-order. The card sleeve is nifty and these cards are sick in wild where rattle decks are king.
I will never buy any. Packs are overpriced as fuck. I am just saving gold, will opem probably 40+ day one which is better than before for me. I will play 2-3 decks at the beginning and then I will craft what will be needed for dust. Btw, got 2k dust on na where i did not play and on eu where i opened like 15-20 packs got nothing. Logic lvl blizz.
If you got 2000 dust recently that's because the pity timer was broken for some since the latest patch. Asides from that, the pity timer on legendaries is and has always been 40 packs.

I haven't gotten the 2000 dust. I also haven't gotten a single Legendary in 70 packs. I don't care about your pity timer. I'm talking from my experience. When the last expansion came out, I bought 60 packs with gold and there was not a single legendary card inside. Haven't bought a single pack since and have been saving gold for the upcoming expansion. In the meantime I've opened around 10-15 regular packs from Tavern Brawls and there wasn't a Legendary card either.
Believe a random dude on the internet who provides no proof or believe hard mathematical data deduced from million of packs opened by players all over the world

You missed off 'Yes but I totally regret it' as an option.
Most likely will buy it, have not pre-ordered though.
When is the last day that we could pre order? Is it the 10th or before?
Emm no. all there are so many boring legendaries and probably in one month i will have all useful cards.
Release date is the day after payday
Gonna have a hard time not spending extra money outside the preorder lol
Nope I have 7k gold right now and I think it will be enough

lol this poll, the answers let FTPers pretend they are supporters of blizz
No reason to pre purchase worst expansion

I spend to support a small indie company.
Way too expensive. I'll be happy with my 2 or 3 meta decks I can craft for free.
