I've spent way more than I care to admit. I'll be pushing into that final tier pretty soon if I'm not there already... haven't checked my Blizzard account in a while.
I myself have spent in the $1000-$2000 range and probably on the high end of that amount. However, that's mainly because when each new expansion or adventure comes out I always preorder and always buy lots of packs because I want to support the game and have the means to do so but also because I'm impatient to get the cards to build decks.
$1.99 during beta to get a particular golden legendary
$4.99 via google play for the starter pack.
Beyond that I haven't spent a thing. Thing is, by the time I was able to play on moble and, thus, use my google play money, I couldn't find any reason to spend money. So long as I can net 50-60 packs per expansion I STILL can't find a reason since you are mostly buying dust at that point anyway.
$5 for the welcome bundle and $15 for 3 wings of Karazhan. Been playing near daily since the release of TGT and I've made it to rank 5 once. I've never cared for net decks so I'd say I've been pretty successful with just that.
200-300€. Last time I spent money was in the starter pack, and the last one before that in the last adventure. I was planning to purchase every adventure, now I won't spend a single euro anymore here. F**k Blizzard.
like 150$, but i wont invest more. the game is way too random for my taste and also i think its stupid to spend more than like 60$ on a single game. granted its like the game had a few addons for 15$ each, but lets face it, the game didnt get anything new besides a few cards and backgrounds.
Somewhere around $750 over the 4 years since beta, breaking that out its only $15-$20 each month on a thing/hobby that i like. If i would play magic the gathering instead i would probably spend around $40-$50 a month on that instead, so hearthstone is "cheaper". I could spend it on "better" things but i see this game survive for at least another 8 years, for that i think the money is well invested in a thing i enjoy.
Curious how much money people have spent?
About 10 bucks in 2013 during closed beta.
Five bucks to play at a Fireside Gathering, but I got back fifteen in store credit.
5 dollars for Welcome Bundle

Can I borrow 5 bucks?
Missing lethal since June 2015.

One does not simply walk into Mordor,
