I feel nothing I use Wow emote everytime they make a mistake. I don't know what they feel.
tho ı find it funny how people getting iritated by emotes seriously are you a fkn child who cannot handle a little bit humiliation.. I would like to see chat option in the game.
What is your oppinion on this kind of behavior? I was a control paladin and he was a Kazakus priest on ladder, rank 3. He won me through fatigue cause he outhealed me, and then added me to call me loser because I lost despite me discovering another Tirion. This thing never happened to me again.
No I didn't BM he at all. In fact he did, by ''looking forward to the fireworks'' every time he removed my big minions and then when he won me.
I would appreciate something like this. Last night I played someone who spammed the threaten emote the entire game. I won, then I was matched up with the same person for the next game. They spammed threaten again for that game. I won again (must be tough to play when you hover over threaten the entire time) and then they tried to add me to their friend list right after that game. I'm not accepting that.
For everyone saying "but you can squelch" that turns off if you have a disconnect and you have to turn it back on again. For some reason this week the disconnects have been rough, so squelch is not really my first priority when playing.
I'm finding these days BM makes me more determined and focused to win. Today I had three over confident players who taunted me with mistake emotes the whole game. I zoned in and won all 3 games. To be fair, the one guy was the worst quest rogue player I've seen in months.
I get angry at first...then I remember that anyone emoting like that likely has very little to feel good about in their lives and that they likely need this to keep themselves going.
What triggers me are people who try to add me after they loose. I usually prepare a small sentence like "salty?", accept the request, paste it and then remove the guy from the friendlist before he can answer :) I am sure this triggers them hard XDXDXD
thats too bad, cuz when i lose a great game, i request so i can talk about the game. when u instantly prepare a rude comment like thst, you miss out on other opportunties. maybe a new HS friend, or a new insight into the game etc...
The purest, rawest rage. I don't add people to insult them though.
On the other hand, when the tables are turned and they add me, I write out "LOL :)" and copy it to clipboard so I can spam it after they rage before they block me.
The auto-squelch plugin is the way to live. You'll never know what that malcontent sick animal is emoting on the other side. There is only one person that matters, and that is you - it's your game.
If it's ladder and I'm playing a boring, unhealthy deck like everyone else, I don't care. I am able to recognize when I am a detriment to the enjoyment of the game, regardless of the deck I am facing.
But if I am playing Casual with a meme deck and face a ladder one, and I have time, then I do the following:
Queue up as quickly as possible to maximize the odds of facing him again (happens a lot in Wild)
Squelch him
Rope to my heart's content while I watch every single ChikenPika Michael Rosen YTP
Thank him if he concedes out of frustration, thank him if I win in any way
Bonus points if he adds me afterwards (Odd Paladins are especially susceptible to this). I just reply "thank you" regardless of whatever he curses
For the maximum lulz, sometimes I queue up into them a third time. Usually they concede when this happens. (I don't rope on the third game though, I consider my revenge more than taken by then)
It's always nice to learn a bit of humility. If life doesn't teach you, perhaps your card game opponents will.
Start of Year: Provoke the failure of 3 expansions, force nerfs on otherwise balanced cards, bring deckbuilding to an all-time low and get rotated one year earlier for being such a threat to the game's health. - Genn and Baku's historical entry on the White Book of Shit Design, shortly before retiring unpunished
I really don't give a shit, at the end of the day it's still just a digital card game. I think we all have alot better to do in our lives so a "thanks" shouldn't bother you.

FOR THE HORDE!

I love doing this! It's a great way to get under the opponents skin and make them extra salty

Ironic. It could recycle others, but not itself.
So much anger and immaturity in this thread. How people manage to get tilted by random strangers in a video game is incomprehensible to me.
Anger is the punishment we give ourselves for someone else's mistake.
I think they are idiots and I tell them.

“Making your opponent concede is one thing, uninstalling Hearthstone is another.” :)
I don’t get triggered much by emotes, they usually make me go “oh shit” when he emotes after a topdeck.
I, however, always emote with a ‘thank you’ when they concede: “Thanks for the free win lol”. Call me toxic, because I probably am.

You guys do realize that you can turn off their emotes by clicking on their portrait if it bothers you too much?
But then I can't see if they're BMing me and I get curious FeelsBadMan

I feel stupid for not squelching in the start of the match

This game has become a great anger management tool.

This. I swear, some people would actually prefer to punch their opponent instead of accepting a loss.
