Surprised so many votes for priest! I LOVE priest. So much fun! I think warlock is boring, even when there was good warlock decks in the meta. Just never got into warlock. Reno Lock was fun and handlock but thats it.
Please take priest, you don't have to give anything back in return.

Quest Rogue is the most cancerous deck ever to exist in Hearthstone, and old school Miracle with Conceal was almost as painful to play against. No matter if you win or lose, playing against these decks is as fun as bashing your head against the wall.
Mage, on the other hand, has always been batshit crazy in arena and in constructed it's basically good at everything. Too much burn, insane defensive options, too much random card generation and last but not least, fucking Mana Wyrm.
Paladin lacks class identity and for some reason Uther is best friends with one of my least favorite races in Warcraft universe.
I also dislike one-dimensional nature of Hunter and RNG element of Shaman's hero power.
Blizzard said 9 classes are a perfect number and there are no plans to add new classes. So, which class would you remove to add DK if you could? Which one would be the minor lose for the game?
'Blizzard' says things all the time and it means nothing. What surprises me is how people could be dumb enough to think they would take the tens of thousands of hours to develop one of the classes and just toss it because somehow millions of people will sign up if there is a new class.

Free to try and find a game, dealing cards for sorrow, cards for pain.
Mage is the worst class and I would love to see it go. Stupid broken basic cards and Freeze Mage is a terrible and immortal deck. Rogue would be the runner up. The whole class lives or dies with the Auctioneer card.
Shaman, Priest and Warrior are the best and most balanced classes. Unless they get fed cards like the Trogg again...
And why not bring the possibility to combine two class? Instead of adding a new one. The first choice being your main play-style class. So you could have why not two hero powers !! Or the possibility to mix cards from two different class. It would bring some vast new playstyle and decks :D
Like let say Hunter is a class that is mostly aggro/midrange. So if you mix it up with Priest to have Hunter-Priest maybe you could do a great controle Hunter! Or a Shaman-Mage or a Paladin-Rogue or any combination you can think of :) That would be sick and insane ^^
And it would be less harder to do it for Blizzard than creating an all new class from scratches
I think that the most stale class is hunter, which never really changed its playstyle since the start of the game and it could be the class to take out. Though at least the class has an identity.
The other class that i'd consider is shaman that can't do shit without his broken cards and they gotta push it really hard to make it even playable.
But I voted warrior cause as long as pirate warrior is a thing i'll hate this class. Seriously fuck you pirate warriors :D Quest warrior is boring as fuck too.
The poll really should have a "none" option, because I'd argue the removal of any of the existing classes will cause more harm to the game than the benefits of adding in a new one.

Obviously no class will and should be removed, this is a "what if" topic
Hunter, easily. The class can get literally any interesting card in the game, but the retards will still go for the cookie-cutter midrange meta deck regardless. Honestly, if a hunter player surprises me in the slightest, I can just go AFK in the other hunter matches for the rest of the year, because it will take just that long until I find another huntard player who does something remotely not-yawn inducing.
I saw a lot of Mages and Priests in this thread, and those classes can be equally annoying, but at least they have some things called variance and surprises. Most of those surprises are cancerous and horrible, but at least I can't foresee a Mage or a Priest's deck as soon as the game starts. Against a Hunter even a 3-year old would know the deck back and forth and the general playstyle within a week.
It's not entirely that the class is stale, but the players have a mental inertia that gives literally nothing new for the game. Cutting Hunter out without giving anything back would probably release enough content by itself, that's how bad the class's identity is.
Start of Year: Provoke the failure of 3 expansions, force nerfs on otherwise balanced cards, bring deckbuilding to an all-time low and get rotated one year earlier for being such a threat to the game's health. - Genn and Baku's historical entry on the White Book of Shit Design, shortly before retiring unpunished
a lot of people hate priest because they steal your shit. it feels extra bad when you lose to your own high cost mana legendaries. entomb was one of the most obnoxious cards ever released. Because not only did you have to deal with your own legendaries but also the high cost legendaries the priest put in his deck which is just not fun to play against. Priest is actually really easy ever since wild pyromancer got cut, not a lot of people play priest because priest doesn't have a aggro archetype.
its obnoxious to play against. pirate warrior is annoying but games end on turn 5. priest is obnoxious and they make you stay for a good 25 turns while they constantly grind and steal your high cost legendaries on top of the ones they already put in their deck in control matchups. if entomb was still in standard i would quit this game already.

Not every Hunter deck is a Cookie-Cutter one. In fact, the deck I play the most in Wild is a Dragon Hunter. DRAGON Hunter. Let me say it once more. DRAGON HUNTER. What Archetype is it? IT HAS NONE, IT'S A FUCKING DRAGON HUNTER lol
Also, many people say that Blizzard shouldn't add more classes and give perfectly valid reasoning. However, I think it would be a good idea if they started to try testing them one at a time. Add DK to Blizz's list of things to test, and see if it works. If it does, release it. Then, perhaps about 8 months later, test DH or Monk. etc, etc. Blizzard could also simply add the new classes to Wild if they please, without changing Standard. IDK, I just want to see some form of DK like what I made in-game ;)
Burgle effects like swashburglar, hallucinations and shakku lead to stupid wins. I think it was last season's NA HCT some guy lost at top 8 to an aggro rogue that managed to burgle archmage and flamewaker. I lost countless games to miracle rogues hallucinating into archmage or lyra. Rogue class cards are much better at utilizing opponent cards than priests
Edwin with counterfeit coins openings lead to stupid wins. Some decks don't pack hard removal; sometimes they don't draw them; sometimes there's not even enough mana to play it. In the rare event of Edwin being removed, the rogue usually just loses
Oh, and also quest rogue. I don't care how high skill cap or low overall winrate the deck is, it takes no skill to queue into a jade druid or control priest. It also takes no skill for aggro druids to queue into them in return
Priest gets an honorable mention. The "identity" of the class' basic removal is that they're highly situational but extremely powerful when they land (Pain, Death, Entomb). This is poor design and amplifies the problem of draw RNG but the introduction of Shadow visions made it much more consistant

I would remove all threads that still dream about adding or subtracting classes.
It is never going to happen, and fomenting hate against existing classes serves no useful purpose.

if the poll was reworded to which class is hated the most, the poll would be basically the same thing.

I hate druids, everything that means seeing less druids is valid for me.

Mage for sure
God Mage, please.
Rogue is my top 1 for multiple reasons
Burgle effects like swashburglar, hallucinations and shakku lead to stupid wins.
