Why blizzard keeps doing it? do they think it's good marketing to introduce an expansion and then people forget about it in 3.5 weeks they don't keep hyping it with new cards?
why did they stop with the voting/daily streamer reveals? I just don't get why do it that way... the spoiler season is always interesting but that's just a bad move they did the same on unguru..
I'm pretty hyped. I don't watch many streamers, neither do 99% of the HS players.
Well doing it the Un'Goro way was totally Information Overload, and I could barely keep track of anything!
Not to mention all the mods were basically killed in the card explosion. RIP again
Myself I'm neutral so I don't have much of a horse in this race.
IIRC, the community here seemed to brighten over all of the cards when in past expansions they complained about the lack of cards. 1-2 a day pissed them off.
OTOH, the folks who talk about the cards on twitch/youtube seemed to have a MUCH harder time in Un'Goro given the sheer amount of cards off loaded.
I'm guessing Blizzard is going to have an ear out in regards to how this release sequence will be accepted. If they see folks growing bothered at the release they'll change it. Note that they do NOT watch these forums so if you want your voice to be heard you want to be where they are, in their twitter or reddit or email.
The next expansion will probably show the results. If this release sequence works out well then they will keep it. If not they'll switch to something else. Note that they were willing to scrap the entire rotation system if it was taken poorly.
They never said that they will get things right, but they HAVE said that they will keep shifting till they get something people do like. Note that this is why I hold respect for them despite the messes.
They learned their lesson with mean streets of gadgetzan. The amount of people on this forum that wouldnt stop crying, whining, moaning, and complaining popped up for every single card. It was so bad reading this forum when a grimy goon card was reveal and every single dumb person that doesn't understand anything about card games complaining about the cards having a similar effect theme (the whole +x/+x vibe).
I agree. It is very annoying, but it will be here before you know it. And before you know it this expansion will be old news while you sit there and become anxious for the next hotness. Then over and over again until you die. The only thing you can do is grow up a bit and enjoy today instead of waiting your life away on edge for freaking card reveals.

ITs funny to see all the marketing experts here making claims without any data and saying that blizz suck at it, they have their numbers and tweak accordingly to increase sells, it's not like they are one year olds.
Also you seem to believe there isn't more content aside from cards to reveal, that makes it even more funny to me, that you can point fingers but can't a see the real picture just because "this is boring for me, me don't like"
To be honest, if I was Blizz, I'd totally copy MtGs reveal strategy. A few flashy bombs at the announcement followed by releases of groups of cards that fit together or fit a theme or a cycle. And it's not everyday right away. That give you a few days between reveals, maybe a week between the first announcement and the next batch. Then they end it with daily reveals finishing out with the workhorse cards that aren't flashy with that last flashy cards sprinkled in to get people to check every day just in case there's that one card you need.
It's been working for years, but maybe MtG players just understand what to expect so it works due to familiarity with the system as opposed to the system being perfect? But that's where I would start.
i don't like to see 3 cards a day, it becomes boring rly quick and don't let you know what is the real taste of the whole set, 1 month of 3 cards a day was rly painful so far and im glad they stopped that crap, you can do it one week but one month that was rly try hard

Answer: I'll tell you tomorrow.
Free to try and find a game, dealing cards for sorrow, cards for pain.
One does not simply walk into Mordor,
unless they want to be the best they can be.
