After quitting HS half a year ago, i started again a month ago with a multiple account Approach. I googled it and i found on the battle-net Forum a comment from Blizzard that it is allowed to have multiple accounts. I didn't know that their was a Limit of three accounts. Since i wasn't aware of that i created six accounts with which i played frequently. After a good month of playing i now had to see that all of my accounts were banned. I asked the customer Service about the bann, but i didn't get any real Information, just a Standard message. Sure, the six accounts were against the Terms of use and furthermore, i didn't gave my real personal data because of the multiple accounts, which is agaist the Terms of Use as well. However, i went through the Terms of use and i didn't find any Information about how this can lead to a immediate ban. It is not listed amoung the Things that lead to a ban. So, i am wondering, why my accounts were banned. Did i overread something or did i miss a Point? Help me out, guys.
EDIT:
Since many here said that the punishment for Violation the ToS is a ban i will copy here the part of the ToS (9.B.(II)), which says that a ban is not the common punishment and only just in specific cases:
"If you fail to comply with any terms contained in this Agreement and/or the In-Game Policies, Blizzard will provide you with a warning of your non-compliance. In case of a serious violation of this Agreement or the In-Game Policies, Blizzard will be entitled to immediately terminate this Agreement and the Service without any prior warning. Serious violations are violations of important provisions which include Sections 1(A)(v), 1(A)(vi), 1(B)(iv), 1(C), 1(D)(i)(2)(g), 2 and 3(B) of this Agreement or repeated violations of other provisions of this Agreement or the In-Game Policies, including further non-compliance where you already have received a prior warning."
Well, from what i read that is not true. You are not banned immediately for every Violation of the ToS. Otherwise it wouldn't make sense that at one Point they list what leads to immediate bans. There are also other Actions like warnings that they can use.
I didn't found that. Could you please tell me where it is written?
What other kind of punishment would you expect for violating the terms of service? Bans are the punishment... that should be common sense. You don't need to have it spelled out for you.
They are very unspecific so they can basically do what they want, at least according to their EULA. I actually don't know whether you could sue them and win in court, but I doubt the hassle is worth it. It's probably cheaper to throw the Money into a new account, if you want to play this game in the future. Or just go and Play Gwent or Elder Scrolls: Legends

Because any Violation is as bad as any other, right? And proportionality is not important, right? Bans are not the only punishment. It is even written in the ToS. They can also warn People. And their could be other ways to punish People as well, like temporal bans. From your logic your account can be banned even if you move and don't update your personal data. Do you think a ban would be justified in that case? I don't think so. But you don't get the main Point: Blizzard doesn't only have rights, they also have duties. They can't just randomly ban accounts. There must be a rule about that and that must be stated somewhere. And I was asking where it is stated. The ToS does NOT say that every Violation leads to a ban!!!

Thanks for the answer. Finally, someone how gets my question :) I think you are talking about 9.B and not 10.B, right? Well, i read that too and because of that i really don't know why they banned it, because my case is not listed in the list that causes bans. But you are right, they are really vage about it. Therefore i think the should at least justify it, but i didn't get any Details about it.
I am really not too mad about lossing the accounts. They weren't that good developed and there was a reason why i stoped playing HS in the first place. So i won't take any Actions on that matter. Just annoyed how Blizzard is handling the Situation.
Why so many accounts? I had once an account with a full Collection. I quit HS then because HS was more about completing the Collection than actually playing the game. After quitting i missed playing the game itself and i just wanted to do that without starting to collect all Cards again. Since i had to start from the beginning i didn't want to grind all over again to have a good Collection to Play common decks. And i didn't want to risk to be trapped in the Card Collection Thing. So multiple accounts seemed the solution. With each account i would have focused on a certain archetype or class. Therefore, the Progress would be much faster. After a good month i had a quest rogue with only 4 Cards missing on one account, a taunt warrior with 3-5 Cards missing on another account and a Lyra Priest on another. At the same time the "Collection" would have been split among multiple accounts, so every account itself wouldn't have had a good Collection so i wouldn't get too much into the Collection Thing again. That were the initial thoughts on that. But it did had some more Advantages: You open way more packs. You can always Play Arena. You can play two Arena simultaneously. And you can finish the quests by playing against your own accounts, which is way faster and less frustrating. Finishing all three quests for each account just took 1 - 1,5 hour.
You were somehow using these accounts to play each other or something I bet. Taking advantage of the 80g quests?
Six accounts are not enough to really take Advantage of that. Yes, i usually did the quest with the most developed account, but that was not my initial thought and it didn't make a big difference, because the occurance rate of that quest isn't really high. Also, i played with all accounts frequently and they were not only there to search for the 80 Gold quest.
If Blizzard bans everyone who ever had multiple accounts, what with all the people who made smurf accounts to get Morgl, there will be more hair on Donald Trump's head than players left.

Look above. Furthermore, i didn't say they were banned because XXX. That is just your Interpretation.
Yes, because of the Violation of the ToS. But that this leads to a ban has to be stated somewhere and i was looking for that.
I'm pretty sure I read in the link posted that they will apply whatever punishment they see fit for the violation. There are multiple punishments, and any of them can be applied if you violate the ToS. There is no Violation - Punishment list for you consult. They tell you that they will apply a punishment according to what they think is correct for the situation. You already know what the punishments can be. Any violation can be chosen to incur in a ban.
Well, the way i read it a warning is the Standard punishment. A ban is only used in certain cases and since they list serveral cases i assume that violations against other rules doesn't lead to a ban. However, it is vage and legally they might be right. But i think that is not customer-friendly at all. A permanent ban is a big punishment and they should be more transparent about when they ban and when not. If they mention paragraphs whose Violation leads to a ban, then it kind of implies that a Violation against other paragraphs should lead to the Standard punishment, a warning. That is really confusing and considering the consequences it a bad policy. Especially, since many People do not read the ToS (as you can see here in the Thread).
So you play with 6 or more accounts... 1 real account and the rest is just for quest trading (reroll for the play a friend quest) and wonder why they ban you? Really?

going against ToS = ban. What more info do you need?
"Sure, the six accounts were against the Terms of use"
"i didn't gave my real personal data because of the multiple accounts"
any more reasons?
Yes, i know which rules i didn't followed, but from what i read they shouldn't lead to a ban. And that is the Point.
I didn't found that. Could you please tell me where it is written?
I doubt that the reason for the ban is for the multiple accounts many people were made accounts to get morgl
Are you a free player?
I'm guessing they are more lenient with people who pay.

"My accounts were banned because XXX"
"Why were my accounts banned"
Who needs six accounts though there's something else going on here 0_0
