He is completely right. Things get stale very quickly. He is also completely right that it doesn't take much to re-invigorate the game, and that it doesn't even have to be perfect, so long as it's change. It's just asking for more content or content changes on a semi-regular basis. Like, not waiting for a complete meltdown to change a couple numbers on some cards, and feature updates more substantial than displaying a number and saving 30 seconds to net deck.
Two last expansions would have lived much longer with better balance. Last one Jade was so OP many fun Goon cards were never played. This time only 2 of 9 quest are played, thats a big waste of cards. I still think real fights between Goon, Kazakus and Jade was a fun idea but the inbalance ruined it.
Idea: Try to balance the quests and let us try them for free one season.
I think it's easier to hate on a game than it is to objectively judge it. We see this around every community of every single game. It's just a cesspool of whiny brats who want the game only their way. Not saying everyone or necessarily anyone here matches that description, but it is a theme. People talk about balance and other things without knowing a single thing about what actually goes into card creation and/or deck creation.
As for the game going stale, don't play it so much then it won't. If you're Kripp, you play 50+ hours a week playing this game, of course it's going to get stale. If they released 130 cards a month it would get stale for him. It would create other huge balancing problems. I like the fact that it lets us figure out new decks and strategies and let's us play around with them for a while. The game is too expensive already, we don't need to add more costs. If they DID add more content more quickly, there should be greater rewards so we don't have to spend too much money.
This game is incredibly fun and popular, I wish the hipster logic of hating on popular things would just go away. It's nonsense as people play the game a ton and then whine about it not being good enough, logic...
That sounds more like a commentary on the internet gaming community than it does about blizzard. There are forums for every popular game with 2k pages of salt. Blizzard could do better, but allowing people to explore the decks they either payed for or ground for is not a bad thing. The game is only stale if you play it way too much. I enjoy playing Nzoth paladin and that deck holds up just fine against most. If you look at those pages where people are crying about the game, there's hundreds of different ideas and theories that directly contradict each other. They can't please everyone and they shouldn't even try.
Fun is a subjective term. Different people find things fun for different reasons.
Playing as much as Kripp does will lead to boredom and staleness in any game. It's actually a compliment to Hearthstone that so many streamers play it so much every day and don't just constantly bitch about it and leave.
Blizzard is in a no-win scenario where no matter what they do some section of the player base will be upset. Try to think about the solutions you offer to the "problems" from the perspective of another type of player.
I'm not saying there aren't things I'd like them to change. But I've got to be honest that how I play/enjoy Hearthstone isnt 100% of the demographics. Any one here at Hearthpwn is a very small portion of the overall playerbase.
I mean, you're talking about the guy who complains endlessly about this game, blames the game for his mistakes and can't fathom anyone having a semi-decent card in arena and blames the game's RNG because of it.

Primarily I agree with point 5. It's By far the most important. This game desperately needs more regular balance changes. If giving out dust is the problem then blizzard should do away with the dust bonus for nerfs.
... Also the salt for Kripp is hilarious. He's just a popular streamer, if you don't like then don't watch, in fact do yourselves a favor and stop watching any, play the game instead - it's considerably more fun. There's a word for people who hate on things they have no obligation to (Note, this is not the same as hating on the hearthstone game itself, that is a mechanical system you have to live with if you want to play, it's considerably more logical, with a purpose)... Losers.

.... So it's perfectly fine for Krip to salt all over Hearthstone and point out it's flaws, but anyone who wants to poke holes in Krip's arguments needs to shut up and are just "haters"?
Krip plays the game 8 hours a day. It's no wonder that the game is getting stale for him, much like how film critics can't watch an "OK" flick without shitting on it because it's just "OK" and they've seen a bunch of better films. He doesn't speak for everyone, he can just give his opinion much like the rest of us.
Just because the Film Critics don't like Transformers doesn't mean people still don't flock to those movies.

Game is not fun any more. People are too stupid or stubborn to realize but games are decided based on your opponent's class and/or mulligan and first four draws almost no skill involved. Blizzard intentionally made the game too simple so almost every game is just a flipping a coin.

This is my beef with the game, ignoring all the vitrol in the rest of the post.
Most decks now are entirely pro-active. I'm going to do X and you win only if you can stop me or do your X faster. Quest rogue is the epitome of this, but aggro decks, murloc decks, jade decks, burn mage... it's all the same. You know exactly what they are going to do, and the game is pre-ordained on who will win the moment the decks are shuffled.
I look back at top decks back in the GvG era. For instance, mech mage was a top deck, but how many cards synergized with mechs? You had Tinkertown Technician and Goblin Blastmage, and Antonidas. Ignoring Antonidas, the synergy is pretty weak.. one gave a +1/+1 and one did 4 damage. The rest were a combination of answers and tempo. Now, you look at these top decks and half or more of the deck is synergizing with each other. Jade, Quest rogue (any quests actually), evolve, murloc, etc... all the cards synergize off of each other, to a point that any answer cards can't compete. Dragon priest was the only "control synergy" deck that could keep up with the aggro synergy, and it died with the standard rotation. I don't mind having heavy synergy decks, but right now all deck synergy is pro-active/tempo to snowball the game in your favor. There's no reactive synergy, no skill involved in any of these decks.
Oh, and arena sucks since they decided to give everyone epics and legendaries. Before it was a skill-based game, now it's who gets the best cards during the draft. I hate it now, no longer play it after exclusively playing it for 2+ years, but know it likely won't change.
"Arena used to be a skill based mode, but your opponent could still get 4 Fireland's Portals to kill anything you threw at them and get more dudes in the process".
I like the idea of doing adventures on the 2 month frame. So like right now we would get the adventure content then in two more months we get the expansion. Instead of getting the adventure/solo content with the expansion all at the same time.
"anyone who wants to poke holes in Krip's arguments needs to shut up and just "haters"
Dude... That's how you have discussions, you analyze what the other person is saying and then if there are holes in their logic, you point them out. Telling people they're losers for expressing their opinions is a bit ridiculous. What's worse is you then try to shut them up, that's very fascist of you.

Maybe every month 1-2 cards per class should rotate in from the Wild set just for the month, then rotate out again.

Make the game more skill based and it might be enjoyable. As it stands, whoever draws better wins automatically.

Yes, I agree the current meta gets stale, but it'll be the same for every expansion / adventure after 2-3 months of release.
At least we are in an enjoyable meta, nothing could be worse than the MSG meta, the wait for the rotation and Un'Goro took forever.
