As a midrange Paladin, against an empty handed hunter, I top deck a Ragnaros, Lightlord with 2 health left. Awesome. Then I make sure to use my fully healed Stampeding Kodo to clear the board of an Alleycat. Rag heals the Kodo, hunter shoots me in the face, table is flipped.
Playing Reno Priest I did the same mistake 3 times. Whenever there is a 1 health minion on board I target it with my hero power thinking it was going to kill it. Instead I end up healing it(and concede in shame). I guess I play way to much Reno Mage .-.
Not 100% sure this belongs here, because I did misplay but wasn't punished. Can still sort of remedy by bringing upon myself the punishment of shame, though ;)
With this board
clearly enough I have lethal... in two slightly different ways, even. But, after casting Savage Roar, disposing of the taunts and dealing a bunch of damage to Thrall's face, what do I do with my last attack? Not finish him off but rather kill friggin' Wrath of Air Totem!!
Guess it was a combo of low sugar levels in blood (it was lunch time) and autopilot mode, when you don't really think but just go by memorized rules, like "that minion is dangerous, kill it ASAP", lol.
For the record, I still won next turn but wasn't exactly pleased with myself.
Turn 10 i have a board with 5 adapted murlocs (spawn 2 Sapplings) and 1 Megasaur. Enemy has a Tirion on board and 2 other creatures.
I have a Sunkeeper Taurim in Hand trade in a murloc to pop Tirions's devine shield, then i trade in Megasaur and the 2nd Murloc - then i realize that my board is full and i can't get rid of it. Shamefully passing turn 10 without playing any minion or spell.
After playing volcanosaur against a Mage, It got windfury and "can't be targeted by spells or hero powers"
on his turn he try's to target it with a spell and his hero power. I brag to my computer screen, saying: "ha you can't clear it and now I'm gonna slap you with it for 10 damage. Take that" (had been on a losing spree and was feeling self-righteous to finally be winning)
then I forgot to attack with it twice. I freaking SAID OUT LOUD THAT I WAS GONNA ATTACK WITH IT TWICE AND THEN FORGOT IT HAD WINDFURY
So many games with mage... then I switched into priest. I had 2 hp left and enemy 3hp left with 3 minions on board, my turn and 2attack minion on my side of board. Great! hit him for 2 damage and "finish" him with hero power. Concede in shame immidiately
Played as a Reno N'zoth Rogue in Wild this morning. I casted Gang Up on one of my minions one turn before I wanted to Reno. Played Reno with 3 HP left and realised my mistake afterwards (I just wanted to have more deathrattles in my deck, godamnit!)
shuffled jade idols instead of making a 12/12 to win the game...made this yesterday...I usually get rank 5 every month i play which makes it just seem worse lol
Play Rogue a ton, no not Q Rogue, can't tell how many times out of either not paying attention or just fatigued I either backed stabbed, Eviscerated or Vilespined the wrong target and in 99% of the time cost me the game.. rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
Happened yesterday. Played a Shadow Visions with my Dragon Priest deck. There was a 5+ minion on the board for my opponent. The 3 cards come up. 2 of the three were SW:P and SW:D. Of course in haste I hit the wrong one and end up losing in a snowball effect.
Had all 5 Combo pieces. Didn't realize that it was only Turn 9, as I never had the combo that early. Played Time Warp. Stared at my Mimiron's Head, wondering why there was no green border around it. Looked at my Mana pool. Conceded.
Had a great way to clear board as Miracle Rogue, while having a lethal next turn vs enemy's lethal on his turn. Needed 2x Backstab and 2x Fan of Knives, got both. Played FoK first...
I think may worst mistake was back at Hearthstone was released. I had been playing for a few months and so had a good idea on how to use the cards I had and when to play them. I once used a Swipe on a board full of minions to try and slow them down. However in a few seconds I realised what I did to the point I couldn't even look at the screen...

Hitting end turn before attacking with Patches ....... too many times.
Playing arena as priest.. turn 8.. opponent has netherspite historian, glacial shard, knife juggler, nesting rock on board.
I play my own knife juggler, Amani (2 mana 2/3), and then bang...Shadow word horror!!
Hit concede next instant!
:P

Moral of the story, "Slow down."
Playing intelligently. The game rewards bad play.

I've no clue what I'm doing...

... They had 4 Health left.
My Entry for this week's Card Design Competition - Season 8.16:
Played Lord Jaraxxus into Repentance.
Never knew that's a thing, was fun to find out and die to a small minion lol
"Shame yourself!"... what is this, a cuck thread? no thanks!
The 1st step towards a better game is firing Mike Donais! We had enough of his "skillful" balances!
#FireMikeDonais
Yesterday I played prep-coin for the first time and consequently lost the game. Never thought it would happen to me :/
