i think quest rouge is so broken. It's destroy a lot of control deck. all control deck that don't have some burn card always lose. It's that good?
quest rouge doesn't have most winrate in this beta. but It's destroy a lot of deck.
Hope blizzard will do something with this soon. sometime i play around 20 min with control deck and next match i face with quest rouge and My deck cannot beat that because my deck is slow and doesn't have too much burn damage, how do u control the board with all 5/5 minions. The only way i can win is rouge gets really bad hand.
That so sad that quest rouge rouge remove a lot of my control deck. I cannot use it for ladder. That so sad :(
Nice whining. I guess the solution to your problem is "mimimi". I mean QR is cancerous, nothing to say against, but if you (surly true bonobo) would review the winrates of meta decks atm, you could see that QR is much, but def not "broken". There are decks which ez win against QR, and some which ez lose. Like it has been in HS always with some decks. So grab your low ELO balls and stop crying like a baby elefant seperated from its mother.
It's ,,rogue" and it's not current beta but ,,meta''. Like in every other salt thread you are frustrated just like all op's are,but in some way you are right about that it counters control decks. The quest rogue is not that really hard to beat, you can win by pressuring it,that deck doesn't have any removal other than Backstab or any heal at all.Aggro or midrange decks are best counters for it because they pressure Valeera with early board presence and she is dead even if she fully clears board somehow or if she completes quest. With control decks is harder truly, but not impossible. All you have to do is to clear his board before he plays completition of quest to deny all those 5/5's and stall with some taunts, board clears until you manage to get to the late game.Quest rogue loses pressure in the late game because they used so much cards, their hand is awkward or empty and they cannot deal with minions bigger than their 5/5's so its hard matchup when you are playing control but you just need to get used to it and to play more against it so you can become more familiar to matchup.
Hello guys , i'm playing on Eu server for three years so far.I mostly like and play control type of decks. If you clear the board constantly , draw answers and stabilize is way more fun than just playing hunter and pressing hero power for fifteen turns . Anyways recently i started posting my built decks/theories because i'd like to share my ideas and to see other people's thoughts about them. Any suggestion/comment is more than welcome .
Quest Rogue's answer is Quest Rogue. The deck loses to itself, there's nothing else Blizzard needs to do except make sure to not print a 3rd version of Youthful Brewmaster.
The reason QR needs to be nerfed has nothing to do with matchups or win rates. The deck is truly uninteractive and goes against the whole idea that hearthstone is a two player game.
It ain't a very good deck, but it's not a healthy one. I like to compare it to freeze mage, which is a deck I enjoy both playing and playing against... like freeze mage it's alot about your own gameplan, but unlike freeze mage it is almost impossible to tech against (like versus freeze a zoo deck could go anti-secret or a control deck could include rag or whatnot). You're either playing the type of deck it crushes or the type of deck it gets demolished by.
That is a tell-tale sign the deck doesn't fit the game design. One or two polarized matchups wouldn't be that bad (it could just be due to stats not lining up), but only polarized matchups means something is off.
I do not know why whining so much for this deck?I play the deck from day one and i can tell one thing. After couple victories RNG start match up against agro deck - pirate, beast, murloc. And is always faster than me.Tried every combination - no luck vs. agro is sure loss.
The problem is not rogue quest, problem is RNG is not fair!

That's a really bad claim every mirror will beat the mirror..

It's a joke haha, you really are obliged to be so unpleasant ?
Besides being uninteractive and not really fun to play against, the main problem of Quest Rogue is that it's locking the game to an aggro meta. According to Data Reaper Live (from Vicious Syndicate, http://www.vicioussyndicate.com/data-reaper-live-beta/), the best decks at the moment are Token Shaman, Token Druid, Pirate Warrior, Midrange and Murloc Paladin and Secret Mage (Burn Mage seems to be less powerful). If one day, for some reasons, we have a "control meta", a lot of Quest Rogue will come over and a lot of players will be forced to play aggro again even if they don't really like to play aggro, because Quest Rogue will be swarming the ladder.
Quest Rogue is not broken but its implication on the meta seems strong and not necessarily healthy. It might have killed control and other Quest decks (or at least made them much more difficult to play, because you just prey to not play against them), which is kind of ironical as Blizzard seemed to have released a lot of "anti-aggro" cards for Un'Goro (Pirate Crab, Taunts, Quests which demand some time to be completed, etc.).

I dont think Quest Rogue is bad for the meta because it's too good to Control.
I think it become to good vs Aggro/midrange.
Its ok for an anti control deck to exist but quest rogue is the kind of deck that becomes harmful if it's to common on ladder.
your favourite deck has one bad match up so you want blizzard to nerf it.
makes sense.

I'd love if it gets nerfed (i have two) but i dont think it's broken
Maybe a "soft" nerf would be alright, something like "they minions start at 5-5" so if they get hexed/ turn into sheeps / silenced they stop being 5-5
I think that should be more than enough, but i agree with u on the fact it kinda destroy the meta

Might I suggest reducing the minions to 4/4s instead of 5/5s... still good but easier to control i guess.

Please stop......
Arguably the best deck in the game right now is a control deck so you have no clue what you're talking about.
I don't have a problem with the quest. I think the biggest problem is cheap charges in combo with shadowstep.
Im not that good at the game, just an opinion from a casual player.
Use pirate warrior its the fastest deck and i only lose against token druid (sometimes)
PS I play wild
"I bring Life, and Hope." -Alexstrasza
"I dream and the world trembles." -Ysera
"Your time is up!" -Nozdormu
"I am the Essence of Magic!" -Malygos
My Standard experience went good today until I met those fucking overpowered Quest Rogues.
Or how ignorant Blizztard can be about nerfing this without any doubt heavily overpowered quest.
