Hello, yesterday I clicked on that shiny button in friend list which should 'look for nearby fireside gatherings?' I did not really plan to find any, it was just from curiosity. Since than client crashed and every time I tried to relaunch, it crash again. Immediately after launching. I tested it on other regions and clicking on this button was the initiation of the problem.
Is here anyone who experienced something similar? Is anyone able to help me with that problem? Thank you very much.
Try deleting the Cache and Logs directories for Hearthstone. On Windows they are in %LOCALAPPDATA%\Blizzard\Hearthstone and are named Cache and Logs. This might get the game running again. This procedure might also help on a Mac but the directory is in a different location, probably ~\Library\Application Support.
If you are on iOS, deleting the app and reinstalling should have the same effect. Not sure about Android.

A couple things to try, assuming you're on a PC:
Try deleting the Cache and Logs directories for Hearthstone. On Windows they are in %LOCALAPPDATA%\Blizzard\Hearthstone and are named Cache and Logs. This might get the game running again. This procedure might also help on a Mac but the directory is in a different location, probably ~\Library\Application Support.

Do you perhaps play under linux with wine/playonlinux?
If yes, this link might help: https://www.playonlinux.com/de/app-1950-Hearthstone.html
Taken from the link:
1. Go in the "playonlinux configuration" menu.
2. Press the label "Install Components".
3. Install "msxml3".
4. Finally, install "dotnet40".
I had the same problem a few days ago and this fixed it for me.
Hope this will help! :-)
Thanks, both of you. Yes I am playing using wine (forgot to mention that), so Novalis suggetion was the most helpful.
Problem solved, thanks again :)
