Who in their own right mind make the claim of "I care about the game" when they seem to have been proud to make 'THIS' comment when someone puts evidence in front of 'em?
Please stop with your trolling, its getting really, REALLY pathetic at this point... and everyone in this thread has seen through any bad attempt at disguising that.
I don't see how my pre release, even pre every hunter card reveal post has anything to do with this subject.. I was wrong, i will admit that no problem, but your attitude is really nasty, insulting and rude. move on with your life and don't comment in my threads if they go this much over your head
Summary (Maybe, I dunno; it's hard to decipher the grammar):
SAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAALT
I AM A BETTER GAME DESIGNER HIRE ME YOU NOOB
I KNOW WHAT I AM TALKING ABOUT BECUZ I PLAY LOTS OF GAMEZ
Thanks for editing but even you were tl;dr. Props for putting in the effort though.
better?
oh cmon mane, i am making solid points. I know the people are goofs on the internet but i am trying to improve something i am passionate about
in that case, why not put yourself out there as a game designer instead of coming to a fan forum and whine. or better yet, if you think you are super solid as a game designer, make something better than hearthstone.
This conversation reminds me of how Blizzard has handled the ranked ladder in Starcraft 2. In SC2 winning a game wins you experience and a rank increase based off of how long the game went. So if I win a 5 minute game where I rushed my opponent, it is not worth as much as when I win a 30 minute game. That makes a lot of sense for rewards to be proportional to time played. Why would I ever play a long game strategy if my win isn't rewarded? Hearthstone suffers this problem a lot. Not only are control decks traditionally weaker than aggro decks, the reward system further encourages a ton of games to be played.
This makes a lot of sense to me...find ways to make victories with slower decks more rewarding.
Really can't be bothered to read your wall of text, but I'll address the title of your thread.
Are we playing a different game here? The only aggro decks I go against are: aggro druid and pirate warrior.
This meta has introduced a wide range of control decks, to include them: Taunt warrior, burn mage, secret mage, dragon priest, silence priest, jade druid, elemental shaman, evolve shaman, control paladin and murloc paladin. These decks are all very viable and are seen in competitive hearthstone.
There's so much more control decks in the meta right now, which is why I'm confused as to why there are still players complaining about aggro in the meta?
The prevalence of aggro has everything to do with the flawed design of quest rogue and quests in general. Because you can't deal with endless 5/5s (or some other broken quest reward, like endless 8 damage from warrior, infinite damage turn mage), you have to win before that condition is met. The quest rewards from the few viable quests should have some counter other than win before the quest goes off.
Most of the week I play to complete quest, that's the reason I play agro those days. I allways have been a control player (MTG extended and legacy: psychatog, UGb madness, monoU control, UW factories -a deck that killed the opponent with basic lands and tokens-), so when the weekend arrives and I have time to enjoy de game I sit and play some mid-range, control and combo decks. I don't even like playing agro but I don't have as free time as I'd like but I want the packs anyway.
Plenty people playing decks that aren't midrange or aggro though. Secret Mage and Silence priest are T1 decks. Plenty people playing Taunt Warrior and Evolve Shaman still. Dragon priest, Control Palladin etc...been a million posts about how this is the most diverse meta the game has seen and people still complaining about aggro

if you don't know what you are commenting on, please just don't comment... if anything this is about combo and control decks

easy to say hard to do, nothing simple about this

Your post is neither long or deep enough to deserve its own thread. Back to the salt thread.

Alright name a good control deck that doesn't use legendaries or epics and i'll try it right away.
Question everything.

you can name 1 combo deck and you can name one control deck, great... how many midrange and how many aggro decks can you name?
I can hardly make it more simple for you... if you don't understand by now just stay off the thread
just stay of the thread that you have not even read...
