After...I dunno how many years - ever since I got into the closed beta - I finally up and decided to delete Hearthstone from my PC and my iPad.
I have never felt more liberated and free. I imagine this is what heroin junkies feel like when they finally clean up. A million times happier than when I first hit Legendary.
But man lol, after everything, I can now confidently say fuck this game. I literally spent money on stress and frustration, and after encountering a billion dime-a-million huntards, shit just isn't worth it anymore.
So....lol, is there like a group for folks like me now? Like a....Hearthstoneholics Anonymous?
NOPE!!! >:< You WILL NOT TEMPT ME, you seductive harlot! I'm clean now. Legit! I'mma get married, and start a family, and open up a little florist shop! I will not be tempted!
You think you've uninstalled hearthstone. You think you've finally gone and can move on in your life. But it always comes back. From coming back 5 months later to in 3 hours, you'll be back. Hearthstone is a fucking parasite that once it gets into your body it stays there forever and ever.

I'm pretty much married and have two kids. Hearthstone is the only game I have time for and I'm appalled you think you can't have those things without giving up your beloved game.
Also, WoW is what you should quit if you have lack of time. I only "play" WoW now to burn through my millions of gold and help support my Hearthstone packs.

Nope. I will not be tempted with sweets. The parasite has been removed. If I ever get a card-game craving, I'll just download some random crappy Yugioh PSP ISO until I'm through with it or brainwashed into thinking all card games suck. Whenever I think of playing card games, I'll eat those horrible crazy-spicy gummies, so my brain will always associate card games with intense oral pain. I will not be seduced!
I never played Hearthstone that much, but I quit WoW after 12 years and more than 2 years /played just before Legion, so I know the feeling - FREEEEEEEEEEEDOOOOOM!

Brother! Well, for me, WoW was never an obsession. It was weird - I was a part of a pretty hardcore raiding guild, but they were lenient enough to let me go off for long stretches. Basically, it was never really an addiction for me - I was technically casual lol, but good enough to play with the cores. ;) It was never a burden for me, and I never got frustrated playing it. It was perfect, actually! Just what I needed to relax after a day's work now and again.
Addictions never disappear. Even if you think you cured yourself, after some time it will come back, and you can't do anything about it. You may now claim you will never play it again, you may even belive it, but it doesn't matter. YOU WILL BE BACK, sooner or later, wheter you want it or not. You have to accept your fate, and when the time will come, once again pray to our Lord and Savior YOGG-SARON.
Congratz man. Hopefully we all have the strength to put down this game, or Ben Brode finds the strength to ignore what Blizzard's directors tell him to do and he makes the game fun and fair. Better chance of the first happening, though.

I wish I was at this point. Sigh!
