Hello, I have a question for people about countering freeze mage. I just played 4 games against 2 different kinds of freeze mage in wild (no quest). It seems like there is almost no counter at all to freeze mage if you are playing a slow control type decks. Should I start adding Dirty Rat to all my decks? It counters many decks these days, most notable is Quest Reno Priest and all Freeze Mages and Aggro egg druid. I do not want to tech this card in because it makes my decks more inconsistent but I feel like there is no other way to counter freeze mage. What are your thoughts?
In wild you have a few ways to counter. Set up your pressure then use any of the secret destroying minions to take away their defenses. Or use Dirty Rat, or use Loatheb. The thing is, if you're desire is to play your own control game and do all kinds of sweet things and feel good about yourself without a plan to end the game outside of exhausting your opponent and hitting with some mediocre minions, you will die to combo decks like freeze mage. That is their job, kill the greedy defensive decks. You have to make sure you have a pretty strong game plan to finish the game at some point. Then utilize any of the above tech cards to give your self the proper timing into that finish.

If it's not exodia warrior is still a hard counter. That said dirty rat is a great tech choice against many decks right now.
Dirty Rat is the best tech in the meta right now, arguably. Causes major problems for just about every relevant deck.
