So I've finally made a decent Hunter deck that has brought me from rank 15 to 9 so far...
However the one deck I cannot figure out even how to beat is a Quest Rogue. They always finish their quest by turn 5 it seems and then after that its GG...
You have to maintain tempo...if you're playing a slower list, play a minion even if it doesn't achieve full value...try and keep their board clear as best you can around the turn they can get the Crystal Core, and aim to kill them around turn 6-7...it shouldn't be that hard since they're basically not doing anything except going for the quest as fast as possible for around 3 or 4 turns...
A common deck that can used against Quest Rogue would be Quest Warrior. The defensive nature of the deck really helps against the constant aggression of the Quest Rogue decks. However, if you don't have these Quests then perhaps you could try Pirate warrior. If you have dignity, though, maybe you shouldn't. Pirate Warrior generally can impose their aggression earlier than the Quest Rogue can and since the rogue decks don't include many (if any) taunts, you can easily push your opponent down.
Yeah I refuse to play either Pirate Warrior or Quest Rogue, I have too much dignity lol...
I'd rather make another class work lol...
But yeah as others are saying, just rush them...which is fine but even as a hunter i cant rush fast enough lol. The last time I had the perfect rush however he just played the 2/1 freezing elemental and kept returning it and playing it. Which haulted everything.
The other time I had a board that would block him and he just "vanish" and then did quest the next turn.
It's really disgusting, but at least its kinda the only deck that I lose to right now aside from the Pirate warriors that i just laugh at the entire time.
I do have a crab to eat a pirate, but still lol...

Maybe you could try Exodia Mage? :)
Yeah.... i dont have the mage quest and rarely ever even play mage.
I decided never to touch mage back during the "freeze mage" meta lol.
Currently i mainly play hunter, and then occasionally do Shaman, Paladin, or priest.
I just got beaten 5 times in a row against quest rogue on rank 6 and ALL of them finished quest on turn 4. Like seriously, how the fuck they concluded that this card is balanced?? Do they even have game testers? It's so disgusting that already on turn 3 I can see that I'm gonna have to concede. I'm playing Elemental Shaman which is not a slow deck btw. This shit is really getting out of hand.
I climbed to rank 4 with it and won most of my games against quest rogues. Your best cards against them are Dragonfire Potionand [card]Shadow Visions for more dragonfires.
I am not sure paladin can beat them consistently but the one card that makes. Every thing 3 and center it around recruit thing and those might help adapt and pray for poison
Quest Rogue is super weak to curvestone. Strangehorn or Highmane into Razormaw is often enough to obliterate the rogue. Just keep in mind that he cannot really react to your play and develop his quest at the same time. He either gets super lucky with Mimic Pods and you have slight chances to kill him with Windfury adapt. Or he has to deal with your every shit and get smacked eventually cause his resources are miserable.
You can actually try to outlast Quest Rogue with a control deck. Brawls and Volcanos + som taunta can do it.
Dirty Rat can slow them down enough to where their Shadowsteps and 2/3s and 3/2s are useless, but a deck that I've had success with against quest rogue is the aggro face/freeze mage deck that just throws fireballs, frostbolts, firelands portals, and pyroblasts into their face.

lol this would mean you have to survive passed turn 5 which you usually dont.
Quest rogue is easy prey for Hunter. they skip turns 1-3, curve out and don't play into fan of knives. They have zero answers to a wide board other than fok.

if you still struggle, tech in golakka and snipe.
Yeah that's why i have Golakka, haven't put in snipe yet but FoK is all they need for wide board clear vs a hunter... Considering most of our early game is 1 health minions.
As Mid-Range Hunter, you have 6 one drops and a ton of 2s. Keep the power one drops and twos (don't keep grandma or macaw since they only represent one damage). Then, Smorc and win.

Anyone have any advice against them?
Imo midrange hunter should counter it
Never trade just SMOrc
Play 2 crawler to eat theoretisch Pirates

To quote one of the better players in the world, Mr. Yagut: "This is how you win against quest rogues, boys. Just go face."

Sometimes u cant so anything
The Main thing vs. Them is rushing Them
Gl on Ur next Matches and allways try to improve
I have had luck with plant miracle rouge against every deck especially quest rouge.

I had decent success with this control priest from Noxious.

Aggro Hunter seems to be working well for me nothing fancy just SMorc and race them down.
Try playing an aggro token druid deck. I've had plenty of success with it as it gains massive board control and they can't do anything against it.
