If that's all i saw in my matches i would be happy. Both of those get wrecked by the priest i have been playing. Fortunately there is far more decks to play then what you are supposedly seeing.
We've hit rock bottom in Msog. Ofcourse the Meta was amplified by the crap that Karazhan released. The Meta is not perfect, but it is way better then it was. 1 expension is never going to solve al the problems. At least were are not dead as often on turn 4 anymore.
In this meta we can't see annoying things like aggro shaman, dragon priest, reno decks and less pirate warrior. This meta is great. Quest decks are interesting to play. I didn't want grind to legend after MSoG because pirate and reno cancer, that meta was so boring and disgusting. But now I wanna play constructed. This expansion bring back interest to game.

One day this game will stop existing. I can't wait.
What are you expecting? People check on reddit what decks seem to be powerful (pirate warrior and quest rogue), craft those decks, have no dust to craft more cards and play different kind of decks and so happens a meta. Anlther issue that could be solved by giving out free stuff lol
way better meta than in MSOG no deck is really that oppressive really even the quest rogue just started lsoing hard to midrange hunter so you see less of them, midrange hunter might also do well against pirates and taunts (faster start, stronger minions)
also mid paladin does well against all 3 of them
I think it's the first time since HS release all 9 classes have a viable deck, druid seems to be at the bottom now, but can play effectively an egg druid deck
the meta is just sill at the moment. Rogue is stupid unless u build a deck around it... mages have millions of ways to get around decks to finally pull off their 2nd turn quest item... Im ok with pirates and hunter but those 2 decks are just stupid. Its got to a point where If i see one i just want to give up my game and say cool.... have fun
Wow, these people saying this is the best meta they've ever seen must be delusional
The best meta that HS ever had was Old Gods, as EVERY class had at least 1 top tier deck to use. This meta so far looks like only 3, MAYBE 4 classes have a viable top tier deck.
I get that some people are trying to be hopeful, we gotta face the facts. After the dust settles this meta will only be slightly better than MSG, same cancer, different classes.

A meta don't need all classes with top tier decks, if all have a Tier 2 is good enough, the problem is when one class have a Tier 0 deck (midrange shaman) or have classes dead like priest before MSoG and hunter before Un'Goro.
That said warlock control and ramp druid players don't have much fun in this meta.
I dunno if the meta is worse, but it is definitely more boring. Facing quest rogues and taunt warriors are equally boring in different kind of aspects. One WILL get his quest done eventually and drain you down in a very boring way, while turtling up, where as the match against the other is totally not in your hand and is akin to freeze mage. It doesn't matter what YOU do, only his draws dictate how the match goes. Speaking of which, Freeze mage is the biggest most non-interactive cancer since Beta and it sees play as well. So urgh.

Those all become stale really fast, excluding maybe Shaman and Druid. Its the same process every time, and with a high chance of facing the same decks it gets really repetitive.
This meta is very good.. there is a great mix of decks and a lot of different decks are viable.. i just hope that the meta do not change for a 3 or 4 decks that are played by 70% of people..
My biggest fear was that Jade druid would be more viable after the new release and the opposite has happened so I can't complain too much. Quest rogue has a frustrating presence on the ladder but the anti aggro tools have seemed to have worked with the new early taunts and you don't have to gimp your entire deck to counter them it seems. Overall I am optimistic and when the meta settles I hope that it keeps the wide spread of viable classes it has now.

Ive played roughly 100 games over the last week and I can safely say this meta is 60% quest rogue 20% taunt warrior 20% everything else.
This is pretty crap.

Rogue and Warrior are currently the best decks, ofc people are playing them thats what the HS community does.
Also the meta isn't actually worse, a lot more decks are playable than before and you can get to high ranks with every class...

Just remember the good times!

Well before we had only pirate and jade cancer, now we have more variety of cancers. This is a great improvement in my eyes :P
I'm not 100% happy with the meta, but its nowhere near as bad as it previously has been. Here are my stats for 310 games of Un'Goro:
27% Warrior, 17% Rogue, 15% Hunter, 10% Druid, 9% Shaman, 7% Mage, Paladin Priest and Warlock 5%
I started playing a little before naxxramas release and this is the best meta i've ever seen
Top deck is cheat

So yeah. The meta is indefinitely more boring.
Meta is not perfect but definitely MUCH better, Reno is gone, Jade druid i 95% gone, There is little less pirates.
