How do you guys think about the idea of changing the gold-quest system from "Win 3 games with X class" to "Play 5-6 games with X class".
I think this would encourage more "fun-decks" on the ladder, and fewer piratetards etc.. Now you have people tryharding to complete their quests, and since everyone wants to take that gold home, people go full lemming and netdecks. If however, you just needed to PLAY some games to get your gold, and btw just had a winrate of 50%, it would take you roughly the same time to complete your quest, but HEY you had FUN in the process.
I can only speak for myself ofc. I get to play maybe 10 games a day, and I play mostly to complete quest then. However it is true, there is a problem regarding join/leave
I get the impression that netdecking is less about wanting to win and more about having no decent ideas for decks.
Your impression is wrong. Unless you expect me to believe that millions of people played pirate warrior because they couldn't think of anything else to do.
You can always play Casual, I'm pretty much around 50% win ratio with "fun-decks". Play XX number of games would only promote join the game/concede.meeti
Lol.. I am almost only meeting Tier 1 decks from players with legend cardback in casual who roping Max time every round.. ladder is much easier
lol, i run into full gold decks all the time in "casual" as well playing tier 1 decks or just garbage like freeze mage and mill rogue. go play spider solitaire on your computer instead of wasting my time while you jerk off
If you only had to play games wouldn't that encourage auto conceding as you've technically joined and played a game?
Blizzard could make it just as they have with the 80g Friend quest. Doesn't count unless one of the opponents reach 0 Hp. Therefor Auto Conceding would be a waste of time.

That isn't actually correct. I conceded and still won the 80 gold. If it is intended not to allow that, then it isn't working as intended.

Let me know what you think.
Greetings traveler.
I don't think any changes to the quest system will even slightly affect the ladder.
Most of the ladder matches has nothing to do with quest completion, unless 50% of the quests are warrior related somehow.

I personally think they should just give out the gold without quests. Would be fairer for free to play players.
Whether people believe it or not quests do promote farming; usually with brainless face decks.
Casual btw is also full of pirates

Maybe make it so conceded games didn't count?
