meta is not even settled - and there were never more decks out there then now - you might face more rogues this week cuz Dogs List is Rank 1 on Hearhtpwn - but that will settle
i hope so bro, cause the game is not funny anymore, at least these 2 past days.
Sorry dude but I DESTROY Quest Cavern Rogue! I have a 90% win rate against them! Sure I'm using Pirate Warrior. But hey, they's the meta! I'm currently Rank 6 3 stars.
AND THAT'S IT AGAIN !! No skill, no nothing.,. just complete the quest and win
I mean, you're running Priest with Volazj in it... you're probably not going to have a fun time against any Rogue list. Like I'm not even trying to bash your choice of deck or cards, I'm sure it's a lot of fun to play and probably pretty reasonable in slower matchups... but even when it had refined lists that were very good (think Control Priest back when Secret Paladin was a thing), Priest has always struggled with those kind of high-tempo matchups.
If you really, really want to play Priest I imagine you'll need to have a reasonable early game or pack more removal so that you can keep the board clean against Rogue. Dirty Rat is a consideration for any slow deck just because they can use it to disrupt bounce chains a little as well, and stuff like Wild Pyromancer could be handy for clearing 1/1s because sometimes the Rogue will hope you just ignore something and you can punish them severely for it.

Seriously. There is litterally no Quest Rogues below Rank 5. I haven't faced a single one in two days. And i have probaly playing around 50-60 games with Taunt Warrior and Sherazin Rogue. The reason being that it is obsulete in lower tiers, is that it is soooo easy to counter.
Just play minions and go face. They do NOTHING the first 4/5 turns. Which makes it easy for you to get a board quickly.

I want a new title, but Flux won't let me have one,
I hope those quests get removed from game, it truly is the worst that has ever cone out. Not even the new legendary Hemet is as bad as those quests.
Don't talk shit about Hemet. That's one of the coolest cards that Blizz ever came up with and will 100% see play in my wild Ancestor's Call Shaman and Astral Communion Druid when I finally break down and craft it.

I will REALLY REALLY check your considerations.. really thanks for the advices..
The Volazj thing was an AMAZ deck adaptation, he was using it with Quest priest and sometimes works pretty good EXCEPT against high tempo decks.. like this one
And now we will have endless of posts telling how easy quest rouge is to counter and that it's not OP at all. Those posts will be written by quest rogue players. Last expansions they played pirate warrior.
@Mexiito; and I think it's a cool addition, especially with Mirage Callers giving you a bit more consistency making tokens... I just think right now you really need to tune your deck to be able to handle early board. Like Volazj is a dead card against Pirates as well, and those are relatively common while people are trying to capitalize on unrefined builds. And if you really, really want to play this style of Priest I don't think there's anything wrong in that... but you have to accept when the flavor of the week is popular on ladder you're going to have a rough time, and it's not really Blizzard's fault that happens.
Trust me, as an Oil Rogue main for awhile when Control Warrior was oddly very popular I can understand the feeling of queuing into bad matchups consistently. The best you can do is change tech (in that case it was running Assassin's Blade and praying they didn't run Harrison), evaluate that you're playing the matchup as optimally as possible, or completely swap decks just to avoid what's likely a very frustrating session on ladder.

Just play one of the best Cards available...Dirty Rat!!! and Crush Quest Rogue, Pirate Warrior and Quest Mage...
this, so true, Rat is so underrated at low ranks for some random dumb reason while if you watch high legend streams everyone running a control deck is running 2x copies of rat,

Or it's going to be written by people who were already having success against the list by punishing the Rogue for investing the first 4-5 turns into lines that resulted in essentially negative tempo, while running low value cards and having no comeback mechanics. Quest Rogue seems very promising, but even more fragile than Miracle ever was without the list slowing down a lot more.
It's entirely possible for something to be strong without needing a nerf, and without a stable meta people are being dumb calling for a nerf in the first place since they generally resolve themselves. I think the Rogue's Quest is really good, but worse than Warrior and Mage (they just have tougher lists to refine)... and I think that the decks that are poised to kick in once the novelty of Quests goes away are ones that punish the current playstyle of Quest Rogue immensely. Zoo Warlock, Midrange Paladin, Midrange Hunter, and anything that happens to really like going face a lot.

Maybe Priest isn't the best class for this meta, especially if you don't have a lot of the new cards.
Yeah I know that, is just that i have these kind of special feelings for priest, is more of a skill-based class and that makes it harder to play with. I'll have to adapt i think ajjajaaaahaa
Is just that i Spent like 3200 dust on the new priest quest and the Deathrattle turtle (lolz), so im trying to not really regret my decision
Wow there's quite a few wrong things going on here. Quest Rogue is not op. And Priest is definitely strong enough to work in this meta.
I'll keep trying until i make Priest good with the cards i have... maybe spent the few 1800 dust remaining in kazakus and Raiza ?? i dont know... i need more cards T_T
Quest Rogue is not like pirate warrior or jade, its not just about slam minions on the board and then go face, it requires some skill (not much) you have to think
I also think this shit is OP as hell, but its not a cancer like the other decks that you said were
Just play one of the best Cards available...Dirty Rat!!! and Crush Quest Rogue, Pirate Warrior and Quest Mage...
Problem is that we are still in the 'I should be able to play whatever deck I want and win' phase, and OP's deck doesn't have room for rat. Strange thing is my face hunter does, why someone would stubbornly refuse to put a card that can win a lot of games by itself in their deck makes no sense.

I must be in another reality.... I just played 10 game 9 pirate warriors.....
If only you could ban a class before queueing. But if you banned Rogue there'd be no one to queue to feelsBadman
