I disagree, I've been playing Handlock which gives both of those decks a good run for their money, and also good matchups against the majority of other decks. It does however have a bad matchup against pirate warrior (another good deck against the rogue, but terrible against the warrior) and exodia mage (Antonidus, not giants).. I'm whilst rogue is very strong and likely requires some tuning, I am enjoying having all the decks i've tried be around T2.

Quest rogue isn't one of the best decks in the meta at all. It's not even the best rogue deck. It just makes people mad. You can complain about the deck all you want but it's not even holding a 50% win rate against the meta.
People in this forum are so fucking hilarious
"Shaman with pirates is too strong" Bucaneer and Spirit claws get nerfed
"Jade is too strong" A rogue deck that obliterates jades is added

Oh, rly? Friend of mine who most of time ended up at rank 10 by the end of season got rank 5 with Quest Rouge in one day. I didn't even notice when he did it. Yeah, clearly quest rouge is under 50% win rate. Seems legit
Quest Rogue is an unhealthy deck, not because it's incredibly good (it's actually medicore-okayish), but because the game is literally dictatated by Rogues mulligan. If he is lucky, he has the quest running at turn 2, if he isn't he can just be playing bullshit 1/1s till turn 15. If they have a good enough hand the rest of the game is a charade, cause Rogue has already won. No deck should work like that.
Taunt Warrior is really strong, yeah, but it seems it's strong in the sense of "if it gets out of control, people will play cards to counter it". Just like people are teching in Anti-Pirate Crabs™, they might start teching in Black Knight or silences. Their quest reward is bullshit tho, when I won against one of those just because he was getting unlucky with his Hero Power it did not feel like a deserved win. Yeah, let's remove Ragnaros with his bullshit RNG ability and put it somewhere else.

Your friend doing well with a deck doesnt mean shit. Sorry bud. Start linking me some meta reports and hard data.

Hearthstone in a nutshell mate. People just scream about what they don't like and don't take a moment to look at the numbers. It feels OP, so it must be, right? Jade was never top tier either... (Buccaneer and spirit claws were though, deserved nerf)
Jade and quest rogue mechanics are unhealthy for the game. I know it may be too hard to understand, but if a deck doesn't have the highest winrate, it doesn't mean it's fine.
And how the hell new qogue cancer solves the problem with jades? Your statements are really ridiculous.

How often decks win isn't as imporant as how decks win, Pirate Warrior had a 53% win rate after a month with a low skill ceiling and Quest Rogue has a 48% win rate after 3 days with a high skill ceiling so it's too early to base an argument on empiricism. That isn't the issue tho', the problem is games are either ending too fast with too little interaction (Pirate Warrior) or games are turning into solitaire as completing Quests is more important than anything else now (tempo, card advantage, board position or health). Unless you're playing Face Aggro, you have a 1,600 dust buy in for any competitive deck on the ladder and each Quest dictates to you how you should be building your deck while having a metagame distoring effect.
Team 5 just releases design fuck up after design fuck up and that's why people are bitching and leaving the game, the Quest buy in is especially cynical and until Team 5 gets held responsible for their incompetence the cycle just keeps repeating. I'm truely in awe at how these people still have jobs and why this is the only industry people don't get fired in for fucking up so badly.

That's not what this post is about. This post is about Quest Warrior vs Quest Rogue in the meta.
Quest rogue has no staying power in the meta as it's not one of the strongest decks.
If you want to argue about health of the game that's a different story.
By problem with jades, it depends on what problem you mean.
Quest Rogue and Quest Warrior seem to be the two more consistent and well rounded decks in the Ung'Goro meta
For Quest Rogue, there are always Shadowstep, Gadgetzan Ferryman and Youthful Brewmaster to activate The Caverns Below in about five turns
For Quest Warrior, there are always high health taunt minions and big board clear spells with powerful hero power from Fire Plume's Heart
Any opinion on this and suggestion to beat these two decks?
I think that they are both very fun decks to play, though I see Zoolock havign a pretty big presence as well. Pirate Warrior is also very much a part of the metagame.
Murloc Shaman or Discardlock without the Quest.
I've no clue what I'm doing...

Because imagine a mage that can drop 2 giants and then still follow it up with a full 2x frostbolt, 2x ice lance, fireball
Never thought I'd see the day people complain about taunt Warrior being OP... Blizzard, you did it! You managed to make it viable!
I am not finding quest decks problematic at all. However, I am really getting sick of Pirate Warrior.
This is a cheap Elemental Beast Hunter (3000 Dust to craft) which i designed to beat Quest Rogue but it does well against Wall Warrior too:

(Current record is 19:5 @ rank 8-5)

I'm murdering Quest Warr with Elemental-Jade Shaman. Quest Rogue is 50/50 - only depends on who's drawn better.

Ok let's take a break first
The reason I created this thread is to encourage constructive discussion on the two more popular decks in the current meta
I like to listen to people's opinion and suggestion on how to beat these decks
I do not mean that they are OP since we do not have the statistics
But I believe there are likely to be the more popular decks these few days
I'm locking this, because it degenerated into trolling, and to avoid duplicating the same points made in the individual "how to counter X" threads.
