Maybe it's pirate warrior, since it was the top deck last season and it's way fast aggro....but it gets countered by quest warrior and Hunter, priest, maybe others. But you play something else.
Maybe it's Jade druid because cheep Jades feel unfair if you play control.........but Jade is garbage against all the non control. It loses to warrior, quest rogue, murlock, and just about everything else. Except what you play.
Maybe Quest rogue is cancer because they can win very fast if they get their combo. And the combo is really easy to get, so that feels unfair.......But quest rogue loses to pirate warrior, murlock, handlock, and quest warrior. But it beats you....
Maybe it's quest warrior. Taunt Minions on curve is cancer. Curvestone takes no skill, quest reward is RNG not skill..... But quest warrior has no finish. It loses most matches to mage, handlock, murlock, and elemental shaman, totems and cheep tokens beat rag power. But you play pirates or aggro Hunter or quest rogue and run out of gas versus taunts.
Maybe mage is cancer! Two turn kill feels unfair! Frost Nova's and blizzard leave your dudes stuck and sad. Sad! .........But it loses to tempo decks that can play a strong minion each turn, and decks with good taunts, and quest priest. But hey your deck can't win before turn 12 so mage is cancer.
Netdecks. Clearly your fun deck that you came up with yourself should be able to beat all these hearthpwn decks...... Yeah sorry man, they all have counters, the problem is you playing ranked.
Murlock! Everyone knows that murlocks are cancer.........But they are murlocks, they are small and rely on force multipliers. They loose to handlock and quest warrior. Since they can't get over the taunt walls. They lose to decks with fast aggro, like pirate warrior. But they beat you.
Personally if I find that I'm getting frustrated playing against a given deck, I build that and play 20 games with it. By the time you've done that, some new deck will be the cancer.
I made 4-5 of the new decks and have been playing each of them. I beat a rogue with quest warrior and he claimed is was playing no skill curvestone cancer. This was surprising, since he is supposed to be the cancer. Now I don't know who is cancer anymore.
Also this post is intended to me somewhat humorous.
You said Murlocs loses to Taunt Warrior. But that Taunt Warrior also loses to Murlocs?
This seems close to impossible!
But to tell you what is going to be the new Cancer? Then i can tell you that EVERYTHING will. And people are gonna complain, a lot.
The reason people call other decks cancer is because of one of three things. Either the deck is too fast. Like Pirate Warrior and Aggro Druid. The Deck is just Curvestone, Like Taunt Warrior and Elemental Shaman. Or it dosen't interact with your board like Quest Mage and Quest Rogue. There is small exceptions to these, like Jade Druid, because they're the only deck to completly ignore a mechanic essential to the type of game they control. Fatigue.
What does that leave us with? That leaves us with tempo decks like Quest Hunter, Murloc Shaman, Zoolock and Deathrattle Priest. These are all decks that aren't only going face all the time. Aren't just simple Curvestone. And does interact with the board. They can all be tech choiced against, and noone of them are extremely broken.
You said Murlocs loses to Taunt Warrior. But that Taunt Warrior also loses to Murlocs?

I know! I've been playing taunt warrior a fair bit, and the murlock matchup feels 50/50. Mostly based on if and when I draw brawl vs send in the finishers. It's always fun though.
It's Just too early. Now Rogue Quest seems OP but asap will be find a counter to it. People are experimenting so lots of decks are sub-optimized, with few weeks from now everything will be tuned better and the new meta can be defined clearly.
Other than that, "cancer deck" is in most case just an excuse for unskilled players to justify their loss streak. Every deck has a counter deck and there is also RNG, so there is not something unbeatable. Real cancer decks are things that simply kill the gameplay itself preventing the opponent to do anything at all (Pirates that win in 4 turns is that, for example, or also any kind of OTK imho).
Doesn't that make design rules that force everyone to tempo?
No deck should be able to kill before turn 6. To prevent aggro cancer.
Must interact with opponents board even if they don't play taunts. Matches need to be interactive.
No OTKs. No deck should be able to do 20+ from an empty board. No combo miracle wins.
No control decks, players way to be able to use their minons. Board needs to be relevant, so your opponent can interact with it to stop you.
All playable minions should cost 5 or less to discourage curvestone.
I am just saying that this is what the community defines as cancer.
The only decks that annoys me personally, are the overpowered ones. Like Secret Paladin. Or Huntertaker.
Quest rogue is really strong right now. But is getting murdered på aggro. Pirate Warrior is easy to counter now, which is awesome.
All in all... Yeah every kind of deck is considered cancer by some types of the community. People likes different kinds of playstyles, and will naturely hate the things that counter them, or stops them having fun.

I want a new title, but Flux won't let me have one,
Yeah, complaining about decks in this game is instantaneous. The quest rogue is good and in the few HOURS after it was discovered it became the big bad boogie man of the format. Now it's obvious that the deck has serious issues with aggro, but that's not good enough!
I don't understand the thinking that every deck/class should be 50/50 against every other deck/class. That's not how balance works.
To me, "cancer" is people bitching 2 days after a new release. FWIW, Quest Rogue is a lot less effective at this point than PW was at an equivalent point after the Gadgetzan releae.
it's pretty sad when most peope don't read an actually well thought and written thread and just bother to post their knee-jerk reaction, i do agree with you Op, the decks have counters now and not every deck will wina gainst every deck out there, it's something pretty healthy in fact before the expansion i was thinking that non of the new decks would be able to beat Pirate Warrior and that hearthstone was going to be flushed down the toiled by the raid of pirates, then i built a makeshifty elemental mage and watched how Pirates crumbled before my feet, then i built a zoolock an started losing against pirate, i changed zoolock to be an elemental mid-range Warlock and Pirates started getting crushed by my deck again, that's how match-ups work and it makes plenty of classes viable ebcause if something gets too popular we know we have an actual reliable and viable counter that we can build to scare people away from those decks,

For what profit is it to a man, if he gains the world and loses his own soul?
Everything that beats me is cancer isn´t that obvious?

quest rogue is weak vs zoo/ tempo-zooish
pirate warrior is still the cancer
I assume you mean murlocs (the tribe), not murlocks (murloc warlock decks).

I think our idea of what is "cancer" is subjective. For me it'll always be the super aggro decks (pirate warrior) mostly.
To me, "cancer" is people bitching 2 days after a new release. FWIW, Quest Rogue is a lot less effective at this point than PW was at an equivalent point after the Gadgetzan releae.
Rouge quest. 3-4 turn completion. 23+ cards of 5/5. Like that 1 mana 1/1 boar with charge. Now its a 1 mana 5/5 boar with charge.
Was there even a beta test for this card expansion?
