Nearly half my opponents in standard were rogue so i just went wild ... but now they made their way into wild as well, this is the least creative launch yet
looks like ill just go on a nother months break just like i did after msog, the game was in a really, really bad spot, imo the worse in years if not ever and un goro did a lot less to fix it than i had hoped
I have personally played the deck and I think that is good just against passive decks. It dies to any deck that has a good early game such as: hunter, pirate, zoo and it's also hard to win against Taunt warrior. The only reasonable thing that blizzard could do is to nerf the quest and changing it into "Summon 5 minions with the sam name" instead of 4.

With that attitude you should just quit. There are plenty of viable and interesting decks to try out and the tried and true rock, papper, scissors idea seems to be holding up.
I've been playing quest Rogue in Wild using Gang Up on Patches the Pirate. If you thought this little fellow was cancerous before, wait until you spawn 3-6 of them from your deck at 5/5...
Some of the most fun I've had in HS. No shame whatsoever!
This is far from cancer in my opinion. Played 14 games today, no quest rogue. And there are a lot of decks that beat it. Of course, sometimes you can do nothing against it and thats frustrating.
Caverns rogue is broken beyond compare. I've never once taken to the forums to whine about a deck. Pirates? eh, it's strong but completely counterable.
Caverns rogue is an obvious mistake that needs to be fixed. I have faith that blizzard will fix this mess. In the meantime, I'm sticking to arena.
So i was playing against this quest rogue a few times and i got weirded outby something...
i ll put kripperinos video here as a reference https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jXBY8E4TbUI&t=0, so at minute 12 the rogue plays moroes for the first time, how does that count in the quest completion? and again on minute 18:30 he plays his first swashburglar and counts on the quest completion..
I m F2P and i spend months preparing for expansions so i wait at least 2 weeks before i craft any cards, and dont really live the release hype learning about everything right away so if someone could explain this i d be glad...
Moroes is mainly for after the crystal core has been used, popping out 5/5s every turn is very strong, the 1/1s summoned don't count as the quest reads "play" meaning you have to play them from your hand. The quest doesn't take the first card you play as the only one you can use to complete it, you can play any minion 4 times to complete the quest.
That being said, I've seen someone complete the quest by getting Moroes from Mimic Pod, then using Shadowstep twice.
Just an example of how lethal this combo is with pretty much perfect draw. The enemy getting Shadowstep from Mimic Pod is equally nasty from my experiences.
I made a pirate warrior deck, even though I hated them, to get past quest rogue and it absolutely destroys all ungoro decks except for paladin, which sounds really strange. Here is the deck: x2 n'zoth's first mate, patches the pirate, x2 southsea deckhand, x2 upgrade, x2 heroic strike, x2 bloodsail raider, x2 fiery war axe, x2 korkron elite, x2 bloodsail cultist, x2 frothing berserk er, x2 southsea deckhand, x2 dread corsair, x2 mortal strike, x2 arcanite reaper, x2 naga corsair ( or small time buccaneer but I prefer the corsair) and leeroy jenkins (or a captain greenskin). With this deck, you should try to kill rogues mage and hunters as fast as possible and all other classes while making value trades when necessary. Check my full deck list and guide for more information and please leave a thumbs up. In my opinion this is a very solid deck (95 per win rate) as barely any ungoro meta decks counter it except for paladin which no one plays. My losses to paladins were also my fault as I was too greedy.

Thats not the point i was tryign to make here exactly..what i meant was that the quest reads play four minions with the same name..Why does moroes count or swashburglar- taking the example of the video- in the completion of the quest if its actually not a copy you played of it but just the first minion you play!
The quest counts each card name separately. If you play a Moroes then a Swash, you can play 3 of either to complete the quest. Working as intended.
Quest rogue are strong but not cancer, they can be countered and, unless they got a god hand, there's space for shutting them down or controlling them.
I agree it's not an unbeatable deck, but I definitely disagree that you can "shut them down." There is not a single quest in the expansion that can be interfered with if they are being played correctly. (EDIT: I assume you are referring to Dirty Rat, which can slow them down a bit, but only if you get lucky.)
(Also, the Rogue does not need a god hand. I've played plenty of games with it, and the mulligan process is very straighforward and consistent.)
It's more like Freeze Mage after Naxxramas and before GvG.
They had Mad Scientist but there was no Kezan Mystic.
what rogue? I only see Pirate Warriors with new Maiev skin!

Noobs complaining about QR are same noobs who said that caverns will be garbage card...

I wont lie Quest rouge is a hard deck to beat but my dragon priest with Double Mana Wraith must really piss them off haha
lol and then he said "well played"
No it is not I never lost against it with discardzoo. It is more likely a midrange cancer.
Pirate Warrior is the new Pirate Warrior. (ie. as cancerous as ever)
Quest Rogue is the new Aggro-Midrange Shaman, if you want analogies with decks of old, in Standard.

Have to agree. This deck isn't a typical rogue deck, where it takes thinking. To me, it's worse than PW.
