Adapted it to 5/9 Windfury with innervate on turn 5 against a Jade Druid. After buffing it to 7 attack och dealing 14 damage on turn 6 my opponent resigned. This time, the card was a game winner.
The playability of Volcanosaur is most likely going to depend on whether or not Aggro will still be king after this expansion comes out. I highly doubt Pirate Warrior is going to be the best deck in the meta after this (though it could still be high-tier), but the potential of Stampede Hunter and other new fast decks still poses a risk to the Midrange decks. I mean, it's a good 7-drop all things considered and it's definitely seeing play in Arena, but we'll have to see.
Yeah it's actually really good. I don't think it will remain constructed viable, but the fact that this card has surprised so many of us, I definitely think we have probably under rated the power level of a bunch of cards. Certainly the adapt mechanic is something very strong and not the next joust or inspire.
It's all depend on the adapted stats, and probably it won't have a given place in constructed. As stated, perhaps druid. In Ramped it came out well. More of arena card most likely, but it's an interesting stat, adapt.
Of course, I'm gonna build a deck with the new cards. You gotta try.

He got rated playable and you said that he might be playable, so I think the majority got it right
Try Brann Bronzebeard into Volcanosaur. Aka make your own Galvadon :-) You gotta hurry if you wanna use it in standard tho. Just won me a game actually... 9/7 divine shield taunt prevented lethal and killed opponent following turn.
Volcanosaur is a very fun card to play, the card is incredibly underestimated. I just don't know how much play it will see in constructed because the space for decks is so limited a majority of the time.
Done! Epic moment. Made a Divine, cannot be targeted, windfury, +1/+1, (total 6/8). Won over a miracle rouge. Edwin was no match against this dinosaur. It was beautiful. Gadgetzan, swipe, innervate, living roots, to kill his quest adventurer and tomb pillager. Bang Edwin, bang face..
All the time I've played Volcanosaur (VOL-CA-NO-SAUUUR), it does not survive the next turn :(
Are you being offered Shrouding Mist and/or Liquid Membrane and not taking them, or do they really not come up that often in 2 Adapts?
Hmm, when I got Liquid Membrane, my opponent killed it with Deadly Shot. And by the time I got Shrouding Mist, my opponent conceded because my board was already fully hahaha

It won't always be so.
I've played one match against a Hunter who played TWO Volcanosaurs. (He must have crafted a second one.)
I removed both of them before either had a chance to attack.
Impressive card, but still subject to the same limits as every other minion.

Even good cards like volcanosaur wont see constructed play :(

First time I played him, +3 attack, Stealth. Win. :)

Only day you can do it standard. Yeah, I have to try.

Adapt is so fun!

I love this card.. Its laughable everytime someone try to target it with spells and it's immune.. SCREW you curvepriests
Unless someone deadly shots it, and it's the only creature on the board. =)
Tried it once with Brann got +3 Health, Taunt, Untargeted, Venomous, pretty much the best combo, cleared 4 minions before it died.
Sweet card.
