Today's Patch included all the new Un'Goro flavor text. I just read through it all and damn there are some good ones!

Here are just some of the ones that stood out to me... how about you??

Open the Waygate - Although powerful, the incantation is simple. It’s just a jump to the left, and then a step to the right.

Devilsaur Egg - A key ingredient in all discerning Funnel Cake recipes.

Clutchmother Zavas - A bit of a snob: still refuses to drive anything with automatic transmission.

Tar Lord - Tar Lord, man... legendary monster? Aw, forget it.

Igneous Elemental - We wanted to name him "Ingenious Elemental", but he just wasn't that bright.

Primordial Drake - Before he became a rap artist.

Vilespine Slayer - 'Cause slayers gonna slay, slay, slay, slay, slay.

Lost in the Jungle - George and Karl were never heard from again.

Vinecleaver - George and Karl! Thank the Light we found you!

So now we know... the secret ingredient in the ~~drugs~~ funnel cake of azeroth is devilsaur eggs...

Would also love to know who writes these/what the process is. Do team five have a special forum in which to suggest flavor text, and then they sit around and read them all/pick the best? Please be real!!!

Elise the Trailblazer - Reno taught her that blazing her own trail is a lot more fun than following someone else's map.

Biteweed - AKA Edwin VanLeaf.

Evolving Spores - The most powerful mushrooms are commonly found in boxes marked with "?".

Thunder Lizard - What? THUNDER LIZARD is adapting!

Kalimos, Primal Lord - All that's missing is a little heart.

Free From Amber - Bingo! Minion DNA!

I thought Elise the Trailblazer had the saddest and nicest flavour test of them all!

Elise the Trailblazer = Reno taught her that blazing her own trail is a lot more fun than following someone else's map.

Just thought it was kind of nice how reno is leaving, but he has influenced Elise to stop following the map and instead make her own adventures.

Flavor text is basically a fun little blurb each card has, as with non-virtual card games. You can find all flavor text when you click a card in the collection ;)

This might be a stretch but I think another reference to this card is that "Kalimos" sounds like "Kalima" which is famous in the Indiana Jones movie where the mayans ripped out people's hearts while chanting "Kalima, Kalima Kalima!" just a thought.

Yeah I was not getting the Kalimos, Primal Lord reference. Because I'm a giant dork I immediately thought of Moana, and the end scene with the heart... won't spoil LOL. I know that's not the reference at all, but just what I thought of. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I also like a lot the Servant of Kalimos flavor text. "He's doing his best, but his mom thinks that if he had just applied himself in school Kalimos would be working for HIM."
