I concur with others' comments here. Playing against Priests slows the gaming experience down way too much, to the point where it's dull. I'm not saying that all matches need to be super fast ... just saying that playing against Priest is kinda like watching a baseball game where the pitcher shakes off a half-dozen times before each pitch, the batter steps out of the box to adjust his gloves repeatedly, and the coach keeps coming out of the dugout to chat with the pitcher ... in other words, slow and BORING.
Priest doesn't need to be nerfed. The class is more obnoxious than over-powered. I think Blizzard should implement a fix that prevents you from seeing too many of the same class within a specific window of time. Then people would not be able to complain about repeatedly being matched against the same opponent decks, whether it's Priest or anything else.

i would actually like to see rotation based matchmaking...
it cycles you from class to class if at all possible.. i would even be fine with this if it took longer between match times...
the cycle would start with the first class and end with the last one.. you would have to play threw all the classes in the game before meeting the same class again... i am sure that there is enough players playing on the server at any given time to make this pretty much work.. i mean i understand if wouldnt be that way exactly..
lets say here is the order
priest, hunter, mage, paladin, warlock...
lets say you play priest and hunter but the server cant find a mage fight for you.. it skips that class and goes to warlock
even at its worst.. this implement would be far better than anything else that it is working on currently...
Priest was until recently considered the worst hearthstone class and when he is starting to become played you want to nerf it. Oh crazy hearstone people!
One of my best win ratios as a warrior is against priest. They win the early game and amass a large hand, and then late game they have trouble dealing with threat after threat after threat. Every deck has some sort of counter. If you don't like priests, play control warrior and stomp them.
Thoughtsteal really isn't a very good card. You rely on your opponent having good cards that will synergize with your deck at that moment. The other player knows they work in his deck. You do not. Arena might be a different story...
What's the problem with Priest? It's actually kinda good now and requires some minor thinking. Playing against a miracle Rogue is infinitely more annoying, every turn goes down to the end of the wire even when they aren't drawing 20 cards per turn they still think too damn much. I personally can't stand playing with or against the zoo or hunter decks that my dog could play as well as anyone else.
i don't think priest is overpowered or anything.. i just find it annoying
netdecking sux.........
Thats all im saying. stealing cards, healing, removal for virtually everything, like to buff cards to 5+ health within 3 turns, and worst of all they drag the game out FOREVER. I see matches decided by fatigue all the time against priest. In what way isnt it annoying
A good taunt based druid deck complete with ysera is amazing vs priests. If it's the aggro priest variety then make sure you wrath the undertakers asap.
Priests are usually one of my easier matchups. It's the huntards that are the problem.

It was hard for a day or two for me when they started popping up everywhere, but once I figured out their playstyle it went back to an almost free win for me. I guess I should mention that I play two spellbreaker which I think does wonders in that matchup. Legend ranks had a ton of priests near the end of last season and I was able to get some pretty big winstreaks from it so I was really happy.

A bit of a necro... but with how common priests are (including the 9/4 priest, the most infuriating deck ever created) the OP might want to take this season off :D
Instead of making a thread on a forum you could be a proactive player and reconstruct your deck to have a more positive outcome against priest decks, or whatever currently counters you.
Tailor your deck son, I find midranged high tempo decks do well against priest because they are good at single target neutralising, but when you drop dancing swords/blade master into yeti into spec knight into argent com they struggle, also if you dont like 4atk minions play smarter, you can often bait out their removal, or play big control deck with lots of late game , doesnt matter how much they heal they can deal with big threats forever they only have 2 deaths, and notice they cant deal with deathrattles effectively (no one will play silence waste of a card)
But hey man this is all just advise , do what ever the ..... you wana do

I feel the same vs. hunter and zoo lock, I'd appreciate to fight priest all the time.

I really want Pirates to be a playable theme.

I only have 1 which is why I like having 2x Keeper of the Grove
I just autoconcede when i want to do fast runs for quests, works wonders.

That parrot is full of snakes!
I think when I made this I hadnt even played against 9/4, deathrattle, and priest wasnt as popular. At least I was onto something :(
priest is fun if you're the oone playing it
