Seems alot of people like wild - If this was another format
So I was thinking what if every season Blizz switch up the sets available for wild. Like one season for example it can be TGT and Basic Set ONLY, then the next season something else + something else. (B Brode mentioned something like this but for arena)
That way there all those useless TGT cards i spent money on will actually see play, and maybe Blizz can offer wild cards at a discounted dust value too for those who disenchanted everything.
When ungoro launches we all know 3 - 4 weeks the meta gonna be the same 5 or 6 top tier decks over and over again that well suffer for until the next expansion, but that will never happen.
This way the game will always be fresh because there so many sets they can combine and interchange with
The whole idea behind wild is to have a larger card pool to choose from. Limiting the choices just makes it a worse version of standard.
However, I would not complain if Blizzard removed all of the tri-class cards from the game. I wouldn't even ask for a dust refund, their absence would be suitable payment.
All that needs to happen in Wild is a couple cards need to get nerfed, especially Anyfin Can Happen. Problem solved.
This. Wild needs to include ALL the cards. That's the point. A few cards could use some tweaking and balancing. It's not rocket science; but apparently the OP and Blizzard feel otherwise.

Dependable loan sharks since 1960. We sink our teeth into every deal we make.
Over time wild is going to get bigger and bigger, the synergies are just going to be insane, that why i though instead of nerfin cards over and over just easier to seperate them and blizz did exactly that with the standard format.
I though this was a good way to reuse cards that never got to see play and prob never will
When this expansion releases Wild is going to be very different from standard cause of the card rotation but that doesn't mean anyone going to want to play it, it seems like a broken mess at this point and I feel like it will be absolutely impossible for Blizz to keep this mode balanced.

Thoughts?
It doesn't seem that the OP has given much thought to the "problem." If anyone is interested, there are a number of sites which track the format, using data gathered from Track-o-bot. My favourite is "metastats.com" - they issue a monthly report on the format, similar to the weekly report which VS (who also track Wild) issues for Standard. Tempostorm also issues a semi-regular meta-report for Wild, though it is based on their members' opinions regarding the best decks in the format, rather than data they've collected.
FWIW - the format isn't a "broken mess." The top deck is currently Pirate Warrior, with Egg Druid, Secret Paladin, and Jade Shaman also enjoying excellent match-ups against most of the field. Egg Druid is the only deck among the second tier with a favourable match-up against PW, and might be the best choice for a meta-deck - Secret Paladin has a very poor match-up against PW, while Jade Shaman is just about even. However, in a few days, all of this will change, in completely unpredictable ways.
As far as the OP's suggestion - it might make sense to introduce a play mode with a rolling monthly format at some point in the future, but it doesn't seem to make any sense to limit players' options by completely killing off the Eternal format as part of that process.
I play Wild for a simple reason: to play ALL cards. Make this a 3rd, diferent format, but there need to be a place where people can play ALL cards. So leave wild alone!
What blizzard needs to do is balance some cards there, make every 6 months a evaluation and simply nerf some cards when it's necessary.
It won't really be wild though. It will be like old-sets standart with various sets available. Maybe not so bad idea, only not as current wild replacement, but completely new format. I doubt it will be popular though.
Wild is fine the way it is. I do not think many people would play this new format you have thought up, seems like a tavern brawl idea and most likely not a super fun one.
Today in my free brawl pack I got Barongeddon, then I had a cup of fresh green tea. As a result of that, I think Priest is OP because my keyboard is not a mechanical one. I hope Blizzard will address this issue.
I think i need to repost this, all i was trying to say was all those card packs that you bought whether it be TGT, wispers, naxx, black rock whatever does anybody not feel that 3/4 of the cards released were never played and never will be played.
Alot of cards they design just aren't good enough for competitive play. If there were a way to include certain sets then all those cards can now be used and all the money you spent of these useless cards are now viable and on top of that the "deck building" aspect of hearthstone will always be new and fresh season after season.
They can add 1,2,3,4,5......any combination of expansion.
Let's say your game mode is created, and the expansions are limited to ... grand tourney and goblins&gnomes. Not only would the bad cards from those expansions remain unplayable, but the card pool would be so limited that every deck you play/face will be nearly identical. Furthermore, all the players who either dusted their collection, or simply didn't invest into those expansions, would be excluded from the game mode. This means that matchmaking would be extremely limited, which increases the odds of the game mode becoming stale.
Introducing constantly changing, limited selection of sets could be beneficial for that heroic brawl event, so people would really think a bit while making decks there instead of copypasting current meta decks. Wild is fine as it is.

Wild is great and getting greater every expansion, no need to tamper.
Wild is fine as it is. However, such idea is super cool, and a separate mode with that would be super cool.
