People who continuously complain about netdeck should understand the following things:
1. Archetypes are pushed by blizzard, after a few weeks players will automatically come close to each other in term of their card choices
2. When you see someone playing your deck with evident better choices, you copy them, it is also true if you see someone with a better archetype or that you don't know yet, you can also just add him to ask the list or discuss
3. Ranked is, as much as a tournament, made to beat each other, there are two evident principles :
A. You are going to adjust your deck over time even if not netdecked, which will lead the the use of a small pool of obvious cards even in your "hand made" deck, at least at a certain point.
B. You are going to adjust your deck to others, if people beat you constantly, you will copy their decks, people will copy you and so on, which will lead to the point where everyone play the best decks. You could then complain about their constant need of winning in a game made to be fun, but then the (huge) problem of the price in HS have to be taken in consideration : people needs the rewards, this game is so fucking hard to farm even if not f2p that you need this help.So this point is not relevant anymore since they implemented more than fun but also a real reward in ranked.
4. If people play different decks then it is not their skill that is involved but the quality of their decks, so people netdecking are at the same level. I can tell you for being rank 4 in EU regularly that shitty players are all over there even rank 7, so netdecking doesnt help behind rank 10 since everyone is doing so, your skill on the long run do the job.
5. If people play random decks it is 90% of the game that is random and games are completely retarded, HS is about knowing what your opponent play to adjust your plays, if its full random it has nothing to do with skill and strategy. Tournaments are made that way for this reason.
So complaining is not rly smart from the start of any expansion and is a complete non sense a month after, you should instead ask for a second ranked mod without rewards and with a few banned meta cards so you can play against decent players compared to casual, and yet play your own decks.
Nothing is wrong with netdecking and netdecking becomes annoying only when the balance is f*cked.Having only 3 braindead tier 1 decks and a couple of equally braindead tier 2 decks makes the game unenjoyable. Some just get frustrated with the game state and accuse wrongfully the netdecking. That's it.
The fact that it ruins the game? That is the problem. I don't know about everyone else, but I am sick of playing against the same decks repeatedly. You aren't mlg, you aren't playing for a team, hitting legend means jackshit because the deck easiest to get legend with is also completely braindead. You aren't proving anything to anybody. You just make the game worse for us who are tired of you being an uncreative wannabe competitive gamer.
Like yeah bro, midrange shaman is powerful. Oh you are so skilled winning a game at rank 4 with midrange shaman. Is that what you want to hear? Because the truth is, you are just boring as fuck to play with. Especially in casual. Casual is ruined by netdeckers, there is no excuse there.
Also, don't know if you know this or not, but tournament players play the best shit because it is their source of income. I don't know a single tournament player or streamer who would continue to competitively play HS if they weren't making money off of it. So comparing everybody to them is just stupid. You know why we are tired of MSoG? It isn't because there isn't cool new decks to play. It's because 99% of jerks like you need to make your epeen feel big by winning. The reality is no one cares but you.
There is nothing wrong with netdecking, it's efficent and using the knowledge of people with more time and experience than 99% of players out there will have, Not using that resource is stupid.
However, people should have also the confidence to experiment and tweak, and just have fun trying new things which might not work, but might be fantastic.
The short answer: There are no rules, do what you enjoy.
It's not netdecking per se, but the homogeneity it brings to the game.
I know that it is impossible to avoid, and that sooner or later the decks will be optimized like a netdeck, BUT:
Netdecking destroys a chunk of what's fun with card games. Building decks and figuring out what the opponent is up to. And your fifth point is void. Even arena has strategy to it.
It's not about going online and getting a deck. There's nothing inherently wrong with netdecking. It's simply that the community perceives that those who netdeck are lower skill than them, as if they're tier 8 homebrew makes them so special. To be sure, you shouldn't take it as a measure of pride to netdeck, and you really ought to try and experiment with deck design because it can be a lot of fun, but it's just people who want to win over anything else using the tools to win. You can't fault anyone for doing that.
I can understeand a complain for wild netdecking, i mean there are really a lot of archetypes AVAIBLE , but i understeand that not everybody knows perfectly the meta and how to build a deck so...
And remember that who complains in general on netdecking is a rank 15 player who can't compete with top tier decks.
But yeah, a more varius meta with more crazy stuff(like wild ladder 3 season ago) is really fun.
It is part of the age we live in. Data is shared across the world to improve our knowledge and get the bigger picture. For the same reason netdecking is okay, since it is shared data from other sources that can compliment your own idea of a deck or just straight up be used as a copy. Remember copyright tho xD
I netdeck only when i need to climb fast. I dont think there is anythgin wrong with net decking.
For me if some1 prefers to play with the same boring broken decks then it seems like the only tihng he cares is winning. Deck building is the core of any TCG. If you dont know how to build a deck or youve never even tried then to me youre just a braindead guy who dont know what fun really is and play this game only to reach legend all over again to get better prizes instead of having satisfaction from winning with your own-unique-fun-to-play deck.
So there is nothing wrong with netdecking but there might be sth wrong with the guy who does only that.
I guess the actual problem people have is not netdecking, but using "cookie-cutter decks" not knowing how they work instead of... well, deckbuilding.
Althrough to be honest, I think netdecking can be a good thing for starters. Seeing the similarities in the decks can help you to learning about staples and good choices.
PD: Sorry for my english, is not my mother language
As perfectly argued, if you want to play competitively then be competitive, otherwise go in casual so you can complain about netdeck, while bad and new players are also just trying to win a bit with the card they have, because playing a wtf 4 legendary decks or full of epics isnt possible for everyone and is not good to farm, like i said another mod is needed but for now you cant complain about anyone, except maybe war face players haha
I don't like netdecking but also it's not problem for me. I'm playing this game for fun and there is too much ways to enjoy the game, it is not just winning.
I'm just worried about who netdecks because it's harmful for their brains.
Also I really don't understand netdecking. Because in my opinion; most funny part of a card game is collecting cards and building decks according to your collection. When anyone did this from a guide, how can they enjoy ? I'm really curious about this situation. How enjoyable is playing with any decks and winning? How enjoyable is playing with same deck current meta long?
I guess People who netdecks misses the most enjoyable part of the game.

You know now that you are writing this and protesting for netdecking im pretty sure that you won't go to the ungoro card collection and make an hypothetical deck/decks but you will wait for the release, expecting someone will upload some decks and with your money/dust craft you will go play these...And just to justify, you can see many "new" noob players around 23-15 rank playing tier 1 top decks but because they dont know the game they lose badly from other decks even if they are favorites in the current matchup..It takes some time to understand a deck..Netdecking won't stop but the truth is that with more fantasy we could have way more decks and better meta..Blizzard make hearthstone to feel so much easy to play creating at most 3-4 dominating deck archetypes out there..Kibler,Kolento and many other real card gamers have admit that netdecking isnt that much of a problem but the small gap of creation is..Hope you understand.

“Laugh, and the world laughs with you; Weep, and you weep alone; For the sad old earth must borrow its mirth, But has trouble enough of its own.”
1. Yes, Blizzard does push archetypes, leaving very little room for creativity. (don't even try to act like the current top tier versions of decks like dragon priest, pirate warrior and jade druid took creativity) BUT for some reason people are very hesitant to change even one card. For some reason they think their netdecked top tier version is the absolute best version in every situation. I really wouldn't mind netdecking as much if every deck I met had atleast a few different cards. Meeting the exact same version of a deck over and over again gets very boring though.
2. To adress your second point. Yes, if someone has evident better choices, it's obvious you copy them. However, most of the time the quality of choice is dependent on the matchup. Let's say you are playing renolock, and you meet another renolock with the exact same deck BUT he has a Ragnaros, whereas you have a mistress of mixtures, so he beats you. You'd definitely rather have that mistress vs a pirate warrior, if you see where I'm coming from.
3. Point 3 and 4 are a bit repetitive (basically, netdecking is natural and everyone does it) but to get to point 5: Not netdecking doesn't mean every deck is completely random. It's not like everyone would press the button that randomly fills your deck.
Let's imagine a hypothetical situation where no one netdecks, or even copies cards they see from their opponents. Anyone who has the least bit of experience can imagine a dragon deck is strong, if you put in enough dragons and synergy cards. Same for pirates, jades etc. So the majority of the playerbase wouldn't just chuck in some random cards, but have a deck that mainly revolves around one purpose. The difference is that, while alot of people would probably play dragons and pirates, there would be differences between those decks.
I don't like netdecking but also it's not problem for me. I'm playing this game for fun and there is too much ways to enjoy the game, it is not just winning.
I'm just worried about who netdecks because it's harmful for their brains.

I do netdeck fun and prowerfull decks, and i try some shitty decks too( and not cancer deck, i got my priest and first golden hero two years ago when it was bad) , but what i like to most is playing against good players to think of a strategy, i dont have all cards nor do i think its possible to have fun building decks for more than 1 month, this is a small and short pleasure that you cant expect to have beyond the lauch of a new expan
I don't like netdecking but also it's not problem for me. I'm playing this game for fun and there is too much ways to enjoy the game, it is not just winning.

How enjoyable is playing with same deck current meta long?
I guess People who netdecks misses the most enjoyable part of the game.
Pretty much everyone netdecks, for several reasons. I netdeck because:
1. I don't really play enough to thoroughly playtest.
2. Related to the first point; Someone already had the same idea I did, and did it better.
3. I enjoy winning
That being said, I don't mindlessly copy other decks. I would say that I'm fairly good at the game and I'm more than capable of evaluating tech choices and curve adjustments to fit the meta I'm facing and to better fit my preferred style of playing. I netdeck for the archetype "shells", so to speak.
I occasionally try to come up with some original ideas, but for the most part I don't waste time on inventing the wheel twice.
The only real problem with it is the reduction in diversity it brings to the game.
But I do take issue with point 5: to a lot of people many of the best moments come about when something unexpected happens that you don't prepare for. How that happens is often unimportant. What matters is having new experiences, and unless the main netdecks are burgle oriented or similar (which for reasons regarding the integrity of competitive play we could hope never actually happens) they are relatively rare when all you see are netdecks.
The important part there was "to a lot of people". It is those that are justifiably annoyed about playing against netdecks all the time that are so refined they can't reliably try out anything new before they lose. And no, it is not the same playing against the AI. And no, Casual is not at all free from netdecks. But yes, this is improved if the meta ever slows down.

But it irritates me when it is in Casual.

Play Wid, way more variety of decks! Because all classes have various viable archetipes and a lot more tools!
Braindeath Pirate Warrior, meet the brothers Sludge Belcher and Deathlord. Jade dudu/chammy, meet Lightbomb. Reno decks, meet Beneath the Grounds, Control decks, meet Loatheb and Duplicate. Having issues with healing? meet Antique Healbot and Shieldmaiden. Needing a sticky table? Meet Piloted Shredder, Shielded Minibot and Haunted Creeper. Need Proactive plays? Meet Dr. Boom, Kel'Thuzad, Sylvanas Windrunner, Muster for Battle and Ragnaros the Firelord.
The variety of options available in wild gives much more variety and depth to the game, it makes you choose really wisely your tech cards.
People can netdeck, but, having such an amount of viable decks...
And, in time, wild is only going to be better...
The only real problem with it is the reduction in diversity it brings to the game.
