QUESTION: Do you think Blizzard will have a single pirate card in this expansion?
I think probably not because I don't see a pirate working with the theme of un'goro (I could be wrong there..) but if they did release a pirate card -especially one costing lest than 5 mana...it would probably be a shit show of a card discussion thread. Don't you think?
the way blizzard decides what to put in an expansion is they have a dartboard with factions and concepts on it. They throw darts and wherever they land they add that concept to the game. Sontherfore its pure rng, just like the rest of hearthstone!!
Can you fix your biased poll? Or can a mod move this garbage to the salt thread?
What bias? I wouldn't care if another pirate was printed. I just know how much hate there is for pirate decks the last few months.
"There's no bias, but I know how biased people are, so I made a biased poll to reflect that."
As for new pirates... there might be one, but I imagine it'll be overcosted for its effect to avoid it powering Pirate Warrior up (they have a slot freed up from Finley's rotation, would be easy to slot a new pirate in if it was too cheap).
I doubt it. I mean, back before WoG came out Secret Paladin was a big problem, so what does Blizzard do? Avoid releasing a single Paladin secret for that expansion and release Eater of Secrets instead. Blizzard keeps awareness of what annoys people in Hearthstone, even if they don't do the best job of actually solving the problem itself.
Yeah there will be a Pirate card. Tradition is always they add three new Pirate cards per expansion. (With the exception of Mean Streets of Gadgetzan which added six)
I don't know how many people here have ever played WoW, Un'goro is a volcanic crater with the nearest sea being several zones away, it wouldn't make much sense to have any Pirates in this expansion.
But I'm sure they could find a way. They always include a few cards that don't really fit into the theme, like Mal'Ganis being in GvG.

Tradition is always three Pirate cards are released for an expansion. (Exception being MSoG which added six.) They don't have to be with the Pirate tribe but just have to interact with Pirates

Free to try and find a game, dealing cards for sorrow, cards for pain.
