Pre-ordered already. Disposable income and only playing one game is a beautiful thing, my friend...
People like you are destroying this game, thanks a lot! :(
We must give Blizzard a lesson once and for all bro, and you are doing the opposite.
I just preordered a second time to make up for you. I got you fam.
Why are people so concerned with how other people spend their disposable income? It's my money, I'll do what I please. I don't really give a fuck what randos on the internet think.
that'S why you wait until all cards have been released and preorder afterwards. Nobody's actually preordering already.
you'd be surprised, I bet thousands of people already threw their money at blizz, I know I'm gonna preorder no matter what, why wait then, especially that it's just after payday, so do it while I still can :)
Wait wait wait... Are you saying that before payday you don't even have $50 to your name?

Couldn't be more wrong. If you enjoyed the first few cards revealed, and even watched the teaser and thought "Wow, this sounds like it is going to be a great expansion." Plus, you enjoy playing the game and look forward to the changes that were already announced and new card mechanics. Plus, you've already decided 100% you want to play with new cards, even if you haven't seen them. Add all of this together, and that equals "I'll go ahead and pre order". Nothing wrong with being loyal to your game of choice. If you're hating on that, then you're probably the one who is attempting to destroy this game. You troll much?
Your complaint was about not having many cards revealed. I'm just saying it's not a big deal. Obviously there are problems in other areas of the game (i.e. stale meta) but refusing to preorder NEW content that CHANGES the meta isn't exactly going to "teach them a lesson"... if that's the lesson you're talking about.
I don't understand the "blind faith" sentiment if you're a player who actually spends money on the game. When Un'goro hits the Standard format will rotate to Year of the Mammoth. We will lose TGT, BRM, and LOE. Even if Un'goro isn't totally crazy good, it will still be 1/3 of the card pool, meaning a lot of cards from it will be needed. Also, it will survive the next rotation in 2018 when WOG and MSG rotate out, so Un'goro will be around in Standard for a long time. You'll need these cards eventually. Plus I think most people who actually spend money on this game buy at least a 40 pack bundle at some point for each set. If you're in that group you might as well pre-order and get your 50 packs and a card back regardless of whether you know what is in it or not.

What? I never complained about that. I'm just saying that Blizzard needs a lesson after all their fails (especially after the horrible Small-Time Buccaneer/Patches the Pirate meta). We can buy packs with gold instead of real life money, do you realise that?
Who cares if people want to pre-order the cards without seeing them? It's a smart business move. You don't have to open up your wallet so why complain about it? (Yes, I preordered before you ask.)
And regarding it not punishing the developers, that makes me think the devs receive bonuses based on the sales of the game. Does someone have information about the pay structure for the Hearthstone team? Something tells me that information is not available. I'm pretty sure their main job is to make Hearthstone fun to play. If the game is fun to play, it will be more profitable. The two go hand in hand. The more players that play the game, i.e., the better the game is, the more money they will make. If a bunch of people preorder and it turns out the set is a bunch of crap, a lot of people will stop playing the game and will probably never preorder again. So it is in their best interest for the set to actually be good.
I've never personally understood why some people have a problem with Blizzard making money. You decide to play Hearthstone, so you agree to deal with the fact that some aspects of it require money. Even though the game has mechanics built in to allow you to play for free, which I must say are way more generous than most "freemium" games out there (for example, how about the fact there are zero ads?), people still find ways to complain about Blizzard making money. Think about this for a moment - the HS development team was a mere 16 people in the beginning. Now it is over 70. The more people working on it, the better, in my opinion. This is a direct result of the game becoming bigger and making more money. So, I hope they make more money off the game, such as through preorders like this. It'll only get better.
Guys please, why are you still supporting Blizzard after all their fails? Can someone answer me this question? Are you blind fanboys or something?
It comes down to your opinion being subjective and not representative of anyone but yourself. Hope that helps you in real life too.
So are you telling me that, for example, the Small-Time Buccaneer/Patches the Pirate meta wasn't a fail and a terrible mistake from Blizzard? Seriously?

Yeah, at this point unless i decide to quit playing (and seeing as how I've invested a little over $400 on this game, that won't be very likely) it's almost automatic that I get a pre-order in. Probably the thought process for a lot of players who invest in the game
If I came up to you and offered you $50 for what was left in your lunch bag would you say "Hold up! Let me show you what's inside before you make this purchase!". No you would sell it to me whether it's a full lunch or a quarter of a sandwich and an empty yogurt container. Quit complaining about blizzard giving people an option. Do you complain about any other video game pre-order? I'm not paying for this until I see the whole game!

Man you really need to get outside.
Is really that an answer? WOW...
Lol people who don't understand opinion. So if I say that x card and x card meta, although it instead of being aggro card they're control cards, was a mistake I'm wrong? You seem to be one of those players who think aggro is a problem - it's not
Get outside

In other words, SHUT UP AND TAKE MY MONEY! :-)
This is one of the most stupid threads I've seen on HP, and there have been a lot of really stupid threads.
Then I am a pest to the game.
Articles I suggest every player reads to improve at the game;
MTG/Hearthstone biases to avoid
Reframing negative Hearthstone experiences to improve at the game
