@Sherman1986; the Southpark comic was definitely worth a chuckle. :P
I don't blame a lot of people for holding off on pre-orders until they can see the cards, I did the same after ONiK since I was burnt out on the Midrange Shaman meta and didn't see a lot of ways they were coming back from that before rotation. Then they released a million board clears and I felt a little bit better, and the theme seemed interesting enough that I knew I'd get my $50 in entertainment. By all means this meta was polarizing so people should definitely wait to order/not order based on what they're seeing.
Personally I think this set had a ton of great things. A bunch of bad things too, but more good than bad; I certainly had enough fun with it to say that it really didn't sour my perception of the next set. I'll be pre-ordering Un'Goro because Dinosaurs are amazing and post-rotation metas are my favorite to build in.

Articles I suggest every player reads to improve at the game;
All these whiners talking about how Blizzard has "failed them". I've found plenty of fun decks each and every expansion and adventure, and many of the cards have been interesting and fun to play with. As a rogue, I love Shadowcaster and Luckydo Buccaneer even though they're cards that next to nobody plays and I'm sure people whine about how crap they are. I love the Burgle decks as well as they're more interesting than miracle yet again.
that'S why you wait until all cards have been released and preorder afterwards. Nobody's actually preordering already.
Uhh I preordered the second I was able too better to spend the money sooner than later
We are individuals who practice delayed gratification. It is a wonderful feeling.
I play ALL blizzard games for free now, since the WoW token adds $15 battle net balance
I have $200+ waiting for new adventure/expansion announcements. Yeah I could have waited but what's the point? I already earned it for the sole reason of buying those packs before they came out

For some reason, MSoG has just a lot of cards I really dislike for their art (say, Stolen Goods) or voice acting (very personal, but I *hate* Wickerflame Burnbristle, for example), or flavor/concept (that "monkey language" with "grooking" and "blooking" (Hozen Healer) really ticks me off). Luckydo Buccaneer scores on all three for me, plus, it's a bad card.
But at the same time I think it's awesome you are actually playing it rather than succumbing to the meta. People like you make Hearthstone fun. Keep it up!
On topic, I'm not preordering. MSoG was my only major pack buying to date and I am severely disappointed with it (and the game as a whole afterwards). I'll probably throw my ingame gold and dust into the Un'Goro crater though.
This is a typical response from a F2p account. "The game sucks, but I'm going to keep playing it. I'm just not going to give them any money for it." You are enjoying something that is free, yet you still complain that you don't like it. This is similar to going to a hotel and eating their free breakfast, and then complaining to them how bad it is, and how terrible their rooms are. You only stayed in a room one time, but you decide that you'll still come back for the free breakfast.
I pre-ordered because I don't let random people on the internet dictate what my opinions are. I enjoy the game, and I think it is going in a good direction, so I threw $50 at blizzard. Maybe I want to reward them for their awesome community engagement recently, or all of the year of the mammoth changes. Maybe Brode's rap was just so awesome that I had to pre-order. Either way, it's my money, and it is my right to decide how it should be spent.
I also don't think of card sets as groups of products that I need to ascertain the value of. I want to continue playing hearthstone, and new cards will see play. What I want to buy is the experience of experimenting with new cards and decks without worrying about what is worth spending dust on. I can generally accomplish this with a new set by opening about 100 packs, so 50 pre-order and 50 from saved gold.

ADXE, what part of the word "buying" do you not understand?
You didn't like the pirates, or the jade golems, so you feel like you spent money and were not satisfied. You're not happy with Blizzard, so you decide you're not going to fall victim to preordering again. And then they release all 135 cards, and here you are on Hearthpwn again, looking at every card and thinking about how cool it is going to be. So you spend all your dust and gold on packs, and you don't get the cards you want. So you come back to Hearthpwn and complain again about Blizzard, and how they don't allow you to have the Legendary cards, and it's their fault. sounds like you?

Uhm, no. That does not sound like me. Let me tell you what *does* sound like me, though: - I am not happy with the state of standard ladder because of the abundance of aggressive pirate decks. I do mostly enjoy wild ladder, arena, casual sometimes and the occasional brawl. I liked (standard) ladder just fine up until MSoG meta. By the way, I also bought Karazhan and I did enjoy those cards. - I have more than one reason to not want to spend 50 dollar on a preorder other than "fearing of falling victim". - I enjoy optimizing micromanaging my collection and dusting/crafting cards more than throwing real-life money into packs (but I'm not saying I won't, and I have before). - I have never complained about "how [Blizzard doesn't allow me] to have the Legendary cards ", but I do appreciate your rampant sense of imagination. I have complained that they are too slow to patch and that in my opinion their reasons for waiting so long are bad, though.
Furthermore, what gives you the right to tell me what I can and cannot say with respect to my opinion of Hearthstone?
You're entitled to your own opinion. But bad opinions are as bad as smelly socks. Nobody likes them and you decided to show up with them. So since you decided you had to wear them, then you better get used to hearing what others don't like about your opinions.
Thats like buying a showbag with 5/200 of the lollies revealed, and u don't even know if those lollies with be functional compeditively. What a joke blizz, if you wanna start asking for me to fork over $60 already, atleast show me the goods and not expect me to go hungry for a week out of blind faith. jeez.
If this was a Star Wars movie, and you saw the trailer and said "Wow that looks amazing". Would you then go on to say that I'm not buying a ticket until I see the whole movie?
One thing to take into consideration is that players who are in the Standard format are going to be required to have the cards they need from this new set, not that I'm disagreeing about the pre order but just a thought.

I mean 3600 Dust is a lot. Despite having, you know, 60k of dust, Right Amaz? :)

How is that different from...oh I don't know...literally any other CCG ever?

they added the option this early so they wouldn't need to have 2 patches (balance patch and preorder patch)

I'm sure a ton of people have already. If OP doesn't think it's a good idea, there is no gun to the head to buy the thing.
